  • whats the song at 1:20??

  • i want you to clean your vagina

  • hey thats the guy from spider man. He is a greengoblin

  • That's Wilam Dafoe FYI.

  • te amo muito christian bale

love you much and you always let me love Christian Bale

  • Holy shit, Batman and the green goblin in the same room

  • lol

  • The way he fucks with the private detective is awesome. The fact he never gets caught is perfection.

    AT 3:30 - 41, where he asks

    "Am I being cross examined?"

and recieves "Do you feel like that?"

and responds with "No, not really."

    I actually burst out laughing.

  • a great movie

such a pity they made a sequel out of it

  • Best movie ever!

  • "Christi get out choose a robe not the bejon" haha lovely

  • The robe is actually a Bijan.

  • wheres part 5?

  • why is he a psycho?

  • thhe same reason u are, since u dont know the answer to the question u a

  • shut the hell up idiot......either answer nicely or piss off

  • hes a murderer....and watch till the end, youll find out really why

  • yeah, can you tell me when we're supposed to find out the fact he's a murderer.

    I'm curious, thanks

  • I love the Cliff Huxtable Part...He must be have JELLO for lunch!

  • lol its batman vs green goblin!

  • DeFoe is great in this. Better than usual for him, even. Thar's right, you know you want to give this a thumbs up :)

  • "Do you take a credit card?"

    Aha, that's funny to me.

  • Bale is amazing

  • whenever i watch this scene all i can see both bale and defoe as is batman and green goblin in some type of a bats/spidey crossover. lol

  • Watching this whilst playing The Dark Knight theme is lolz.

  • Why does watching American Psycho relax me? ;\

  • jeez lol

  • It relaxes me because Bateman has such unshakable confidence and arrogance, and yet he also has many of the same problems as me (paranoia, severe anxiety etc). It is as if he is a stronger version of myself (apart from the murdering, of course).

  • Yea same here i have the same feelings as the character Patrick Bateman ! Pure Hatred for others and so on so on !

  • Cliff Huxtable is who he's going to lunch with?!

  • 4:10 ROFL

  • bateman is probably the least busy investment banker, not to mention VP, i've seen ......the real ones work mroe than 100 hrs a week....

  • his dad owns the company ... he doesn't even need to work

he does work just to fit in but he mostly just sits in his desk doodling or he naps on his couch and he often comes in late

  • i think he's a closet homosexual who does a lot of coke

    hahahahahaha

  • clean ur vagina....lol if he said that 2 me he would have got a smack in the mouth

  • would he have the opportunity to pick you up off a dark city street corner as well? rofl

  • well i could be a lawyer and a hooker :p so i demand respect, he should clean his D**K

  • haha ight point proven

  • what movie was he watchiiingg?

    which the screaming??

  • texas chainsaw massacre(old version)

  • texas chainsaw masacure (if thats how you spell it) It's the original one. Hoped that helped XD

  • its foreshadowing in a way. when peter is talking about him and being questioned hes refering to him in the past ense... he was, he did , he went. like he knows hes dead. an innocent person would refer to him in the present. he hangs out at.... he goes to, he is...

  • batman and the green goblin in the smae movie

  • Yes he says Cliff Huxtable...read the book and see why.

  • Well can you please spare the suspense and tell me. I really want to know.

  • This is my first time watching American Psycho!!

I love it so far. I'm so excited.

  • I just wanted to know if you know.

  • Did he say he has a lunch meeting w/ Cliff Huxtable @ 6:22?? ... Cosby Show dad

  • the book is so much different and there are tons of good scenes not in the movie

  • Who wins Dexter vs Patrick vs Norman?

  • I like Patrick a lot more (much more), but many people think that Dexter is better (I like Dexter but I LOVE Patrick).

    (Sorry for my bad English)

  • ahh i went to the library to pick this book up and it was out.ahhh.its on hold.i cant wait till i get it

  • you'll have to excuse me, i have a lunch meeting with cliff huxtable at the four seasons in 20 minutes....awesome

  • LOL that Yale thing. He is so funny and cute

  • the detective?

  • Tall Dark and Sexy Bale is the whole package

  • "Had his apartment been burgerlerized???"

  • I've never heard of the book and I'm digging it. Aside from the killing and the sex, I quite like it. He's bluntly honest and minds the aesthetic of things. I'd almost venture to as far as those traits go exclaim that he's the ideal. Other than that, he's.. well.. Psycho.

  • i've read the book and its the most disgusting reading experience ever. the film is really tame in comparison. but be prepared for over a hundred pages of bateman talking about clothes, food and rubbish bands before you get any action.

    well worth reading

  • yeah i cant see anyone really diggin this movie if theyre not familiar with the book

  • I haven't read the book. I've seen this movie before, and I want to read the book. Too bad it has to be ordered separately nowadays.

  • 'i just wanted to know if you know'

  • For some crazy reason, I find Willem Dafoe sexier than Bale. 'Tis so wrong... but yeah.

  • It's his sexy voice!

  • yeah, that must be for one hell of a crazy reason LOL! sorry but....thats the craziest thing I´ve ever heard..hehe

  • its his charisma - bale has none

  • You have a right to your Choice, but Bale is hotter

  • 10/10*

  • 4/10

  • chick to chick...

  • ... there's nobody here...

  • you dont just leave evidence laying around..

  • isn't Cliff Huxtable the guy from the Cosby show?

  • Yes and he has a meeting with him at the Four Seasons

  • another of the constant 80's references in this film

  • lmao ha clean ur vagina

  • lady in red

  • is dancing with meee....

  • I don't know what happens to the gullible woman, but she is clearly incognizant...I hope she doesn't die, lol...despite her being incredibly daft.

  • This movie scares the freaking crap outta me. But, it's still interesting.

  • What's so scary about it? Don't understand...

  • "Very fine chardonay you're drinking...I want you to clean your vagina."

Lmao this guy is too much!

  • Ellis said in an interview that he played a trick on the reader. That the clothes in which he dresses his characters are in no way real.

"...if you saw the descriptions in reality the people would look like clowns."

  • yer i kinda thought about that while reading it

  • the light in the bathroom is off first and on the second take is suddenly on!!

  • hahah ur right, maybe it was his alter-ego lol

  • If I lived in Manhattan it'd have to be the Upper East Side. Just off Park, on fifth. Over looking the park of course. Naturally it would be a building... how passe. But it would be a beautiful town house. Spanning nearly the entire block. It'd be well over 50 million dollars... and... oh my god... is that woman wearing the new Louis Vuitton that even I couldn't get my hands on!?! Panic overwhelms me...

  • then i realize that its last years model and sweet relief washes over me in an awesome way.

  • I looove Upper East Side. I loved the Village, but it's changed alot recently.

  • its like his rigorous exercises are some relief of his extreme tension

  • i love his moments of sheer terror and panic when he realizes he won't get a good table or someone has something nicer than him. Also his intense love of friggin terrible 80's music. Lady in friggin Red? lol

  • the book was so much better, and MUCH sicker than the film, but i have to admit, i fuckin LOVE both the book and the film

  • haven't read the book yet..i definitely will.

  • by now im thinking this guy iz a fukin crazy arse

  • master of accents

  • i just realized that bateman without the 'e' is batman!! :P

  • haha good call. didnt see that before =]

  • who is the song at 1:13?

  • lady in red

  • thats funny...

    George Bush went to Yale...

  • so did my ex boyfriend. and he was a closet homosexual.

  • ...yup...

  • That's a very scary thought that they would just let anyone in.

  • hahahahah

  • Ok John.

    Right.

    Got it.

  • They had Jell-o Pudding and

  • lunch with cliff huxtable?

  • (7:00-7:18)like i said..interesting choice of "backround noise" hahaha

  • well, its not about the shock factor.

  • a 4 ouf 5 movie

  • Christian Bale's a taff! Mental, eh?

  • I love that amazing pout Christian Bale does sometimes, haha.

  • I love mineral water.

  • Batman meets Green Goblin =P

  • So, what's the topic of discussion?

  • Its a great performance by Bale but I find the whole yuppie satire insignificant and tiresome. Entertaining though.

  • The only thing that annoys me with this is the fact that the girls are not exactly hot. Rude thing to say, but there is no symmetry between the message and the idea of the whole film.

  • "You'll have to excuse me. I have a lunch date with Cliff Huxtable at the Four Seasons."

    heheh

Wouldn't Patrick's fingerprints be all over Allen's apartment?

  • i have a feeling that since he's so obsessive and meticulous about cleanliness and care, getting rid of them wouldnt be too hard. i'm using somemajor artistic licence here :D

  • Donald Kimble! Hes a cop u idiot! lol

  • no actually the most charming and misleading are the psychos, this is not a thug killer, he is a man with a seriously problem, lack of emotion and empathy, there ARE people that fit this description, psychopaths are different from your average hardened killer in prison, cause they lead double lives, normal lives to fit in

  • The mind of the criminally isane is much more complicated than that.

  • u should read the book, this film is an adaptation of the book and as a result leaves out many of the fine details. Also considering how strangely the book is written (chapters often separated by weeks or months), i think u would appreciate how well the book was to film

  • i agree, the book really shows how insane this guy really is.

  • Uhh... that's pretty much the essence of being a mass murdering psycopath who isn't caught, he is good at hiding his insanity.

  • I disagree serial killer trying not to get caught would be doing everything he could to appear as "normal" as possible

  • relaxation??

  • It shows his obsessive nature... he has to know everything about music and clothes and look perfect. The book makes that extremely clear.

  • That guy who's the detective and also the green goblin in spider man would make a good gman for a half life movie

  • Cliff Huxtable...from the Cosby show? lol

  • "He was part of that whole Yale thing."

    "What Yale thing?"

"Well for one he was probably a closet homosexual and did a lot of cocain, that Yale thing."

    LMFAO

    ps.

"He hung out at the NY yot club."

    "He had a yot?"

"No he just hung out there."

  • yacht my dear.

  • LoL, yeah I guess I can understand that whole working out to a horror movie. Maybe it increases your adrenaline during a work out.

  • Or maybe he's insane?

  • what does he shove in his desk at 2:54?

  • his cassette player and a catalogue

  • thanks

  • but why?

  • The detective just said he knew how busy Patrick was, and he had a magazine and a cassette player on his desk. He wanted to look busy.

  • Willem Dafoe plays the best cops. Check out the Boondock Saints.

  • I love when he's laughing and splashing Christy...and then the phone rings and he's snapped back.

  • LOL william dafoe

  • ahhhhh this one!!

  • What part is the part where you see him do them stomach crunches?

  • 7:07-7:20

  • Cheers mate (Y) That part of the film is mad, just wanted to see how he does them crunches, cause im training my abs also.

  • part 1 : )

  • jumprope.! yey! =] haw haw,

  • "and is obviously more expensive than mine" lol

    who works out to screams??

  • this is sucha a great movie.

    CHRISTIAN BALE :):)

  • i dont get it. is it supposed to be funny or scary movie?

  • both.

  • i'm really not sure

  • i dont know which one is scarier william or christian

  • haha this movie is funny!

  • god i love bale he such an awsome actor

  • jared leto's characters always get fucked. Must be kind of a karma for being such a douchebag tool in real life.

  • omg amen

  • now that you said that ....I remember him dieing in the weatherman lol

  • he is so hot and which one is the part where he tries to kill the gay guy but the gay guy tries to do it?

  • batman and green goblin lol

  • i can't understand why he kills paul allen before having sex with the bitches...i mean, wasn't he supposed to meet paul allen (owen) @ evelyn's xmas party? marcus, oh marcus :)

  • Haha "I have a moment of sheer panic... when I realize that his apartment overlooks the park... it's obviously more expensive than mine"

HAHAHAHA Omg I love this movie!

  • "I want you to clean your vagina"

    Hahaha!

  • LOL I legit laughed out loud at that one

  • Yea I lol'd at that part

  • Ye hsta la vista is a spanish parting phrase meaning literally "until the seeing" but it means basicly "see you" or "so long" ahh gotta love wikipedia

  • his pronounciation is awful. well, let's say "wasp spanish" lol.
