アッシュが銃を貸すシーンのアッシュのセリフが軽すぎる気が。。
アッシュは英二に銃を貸すシーンで、彼は英二を
守るべき存在であると認識したシーンだと作者は書いていました。
アッシュ自身の過去のトラウマにより、
大人は信じられないが自分より力のないものは守るべきものであるとの
認識が無意識にあるのではないでしょうか。
人それぞれイメージがあると思うので賛否両論だとは分かっていますが、
思い入れの強い作品だったので、一意見としてコメントさせていただきました。

I've been wondering how to suggest Banana Fish to animation studios or anything like that. I would seriously give up my left arm for a Banana Fish anime.

I really enjoyed this even though I can't understand Japanese. It's very clever. What a shame that this great manga wasn't made into an anime.
