Only problem was the 5 breaths from the "poster". That is a ridiculously long not to hold and only a few can do it, so it's nothing to be ashamed of. Excellent performance.
One must remember, it sounds this good with a below average camera, and an even worse microphone. Try to envision what the audience in this video heard and then post your comments. I can only imagine how good this must have sounded live in the auditorium!
haha, my entire high school choir got to perform with them on stage. it was pretty awesome. Except we had to sing the song "marvelous error" which is epic crap. Otherwise I think Cantus is pretty awesome.
This is my favorite Eric Whitacre piece. I have never heard it performed by an all mens group, though. They sang it spectacularly nonetheless! Really amazing.
stunning...... love Cantus!!!!

This literally made me gasp. What a glorious union between composer and performers!

This right here is why Eric Whitacre needs to write more TTBB music.

not a fan of the high g's, prefer it in falsetto, not bad overall I guess

To much vibrato for this song.

Loses some of it's structural integrity by the octave change, but god it sounds so cool.

I wish we had a men's chorus at ORU. There is a certain unity in timbre with all men that you just can't achieve otherwise. Splendid. :)
