well actually, its a "Sitar" eastern origin sound. however you can make it sound pretty close to it by using your pick hand, and picking the notes closer to the floyd rose/ end of the guitar string... im having a brain fart, but behind the back pickup..

well i dont know what a prs se torero is, but i'd def pick an ESP over a Jackson anyday... prices are usually in a higher range than jackson (usally, but not always.. just depends on what you want)

i personally LOVE my guitar and would only ever trade it in on another ESP Kirk Hammett model

nope not really... 202 is passive pickups and 602 is active.. that's about it =)

if you already have a 202, make sure you get a good price on the installation of active pickup's.

they have to drill/router out spaces for the electronics and a place for the battery.

some places charge WAY too much than it should cost (hell some places you could buy a new 602) for that price.

i paid approx 800 for my 602 give or take 50-100 w/ tax etc. i got mine through guitar center.

pretty much go through a reputable company to make sure you get it done correctly =) GL!

i dont know about other amps, but i have the Line 6 Spider JAM amp, and yes there is a setting for sandman and a few other metallica songs, like master, bellz. i of course went with the sandman since that album is the sound i'm going for. i use the master of puppets for anything song i do off puppets.

its a really cool amp, u should check it out.

yea i prob would, cept with me and how small my room is where i play at.. the bass on the bellz setting is a lil high.. so i just tweak it (just barely) so it'll sound better in the room that i'm in.

i would start off w/ that setting and see how it goes for you and tweak it accordingly.

also i sometimes tend to play the sandman and puppets setting for some lightning songs.. may wanna tweak those out a lil bit to see if you get a better sound that you'd be looking for.

i honestly don't know (not noe) about the foot pedal your talking about. i do have separate pedals i use together with my wah pedal that does work. even though i dont usually use any pedal when i jam at home (other than the wah).

you may wanna call your local guitar store and ask them, they prob know more things tech like that than i would.

i absolutely LOVE the guitar. as for the KH-2, i'm not sure about the major differences, i've never played a KH-2 either, but i've heard it is a great guitar though!

i have a line 6 spider "jam"

they have presets already in them. i just went to the 90's and selected that one.

sometimes i do master of puppets and for whom bell tolls, but those are the only 3 metallica settings... oh and nothing else matters.

got some slipknot settings i like to use sometimes as well =)

just practice practice practice!!!

learn your chords and scales early too, that'll help you make up your own stuff, and be able to play other stuff even better.

work on proper picking and finger positions.

take it slow and work your way up with speed and technique.
