the bach sarabande for the first suite needs to be sooo much slower.
and the octave jump from open D to the D on the C string at the end of the first half of the piece is out of tune. but pretty good besides a few intonation errors.
Kinda what I do. I just sit around on the street and play. Except I play metal. Great to see that there are other cellists besides me who play other stuff besides classical music.
Actually how you hold you bow can give you a different sound. Sometimes I have to change a grip so I can have a better control. If your grip is lose you might end up with legato.
@RadiusX7 if you saw me play youd talk a lot more shit than that. the cool thing about not playing classical music is you play however the fuck you want. noone ever says that Bo Diddley's picking hand is to rigid or that Jimmi Hendrix needed to work on his bar chords.
@madmiguelh2o no, the thing is with the cello, is that bad position isn't just bad for technique, you literally can damage yourself. When playing you should be totally relaxed, tension causes damage. It's all about control.
@madmiguelh2o , they never told them to correct their techniqes because they were masters at their instruments. This guy isn't, not that he isn't good, just that there is always room for improvement.
he aint black, he needs to change his name

Your second performance was better than the first. You need to work on your Bach, ;-^)

It's unusual to see a cellist play such tight funk/blues riffs. He's like a really good funk bassist. Rhythm is everything. nice work.

look at the tendons popping out of his bow arm. He's going to hurt himself. And i think he's gripping the bow like a fork?!
