  • @Devoti My reaction to this particular trick was pretty negative because of the weak presentation and explanation. Actually, I am a great Derren Brown fan and felt that his recent series got back to the heights he previously achieved at the beginning of his career on Channel 4. The Lottery Show was, for me at least, relatively cheap and obvious, and far below the standard expected of a truly great performer. But hey! Just my opinion!

  • why didn't he play those numbers.......

  • People, he can't predict the lottery, he can't read minds, he can't do any of that stuff.

    It's purely entertainment.

If we knew how he did it, he wouldn't be popular and it wouldn't be as much fun for us.

    Just sit back and enjoy....

  • thats gansta

  • Haha why is he still *working* for TV IF he can actually predict winning lottery numbers? Bull SHIT

If his powers were real, He should be in the Caribbean by now, sitting all day at the beach with hundreds of beautiful women

  • why he is not rich ???????

  • @chaoui2france he is

  • Complete garbage, if anyone could do this they would be by far the richest person in the world OR lotterys would exist.

  • This is actually a really easy trick even without the use of a split-screen. The balls are custom made "magician balls" that are capable of displaying 00 to 99. The numbers on each ball can be changed electronically via remote control by someone off camera. As the numbers are announced on the live TV draw, the numbers on the white ball are changed accordingly. This is the reason why the number "2" ball is written as "02" and not just "2".

  • however i already watched the reveal video that made by other guy, I do have a question. during the drawing why he did not note down the numbers as they come up? why he need to cheat some time with writing down numbers at the end? THe answer is obvious since the answer is collaborate with the reveal video. ( he needed time for the splitscreen while assistant placing the number after its been drawn)

  • Are people from the UK retarded? How does Derren Brown make a living off all of the morons that fall for this shit?

  • The lotto numbers drawn was PRE-TAPED! What a bunch of bull !

  • What a bunch of B.S.

  • I tried so hard but couldn't understand why some people are angry at a supposedly "trick." It's like people that are angry at 1+1=2. I guess that's just the way some people are. Derren Brown is not a psychic. He is one of the greatest entertainers of all time.

  • this is bullshit..

i believed all the hypnosis stuff cos thats believable but i dont believe this psychic bullshit

  • @dill123456789wtf uh did you look at the explanation video? its not phycic bullshit he actually had a method to how he came up wiht those numbers. he doesnt claim to be physcic, he never has and he never will

  • so derren plays it psychic now...

I'm not buying in this anymore.

  • I bet when this was live a heap of people would have been scratching their heads wondering how he did it. And in the end, that's what makes a good show.

  • The lottery numbers that BBC announces, in numerical order, are 23 35 11 28 39 2. ROFL. Everyone thinks it's a big conspiracy or some ridiculous trick, people... it's Derren Brown, one of the simplest magicians around. Watch the video another time around. All he does is lie to you.

  • uh no your mistaken, look at the screen at 5:42 the number are in the right order, the numbers are CHOSEN at a different order as derren's prediction. but the number are SUPPOSED to be put into numerical order as it is shown at 5:42, which derren knew and predicted as such

  • Derren Brown himself would criticize another magician doing this trick by asking why the prediction wasn't revealed before the actual lotto numbers. The answer: because he can't make the trick work until he knows what the actual lotto numbers are. The whole BBC legal excuse was just that, an excuse.

People! it is JUST a trick

  • all the comments about this being fake: duh. It's what he does, he doesn't claim that it's real. He isn't trying to convince or persuade you -- just to confuse you. :D

  • @selphiexfairy tis true that is what he does but the disappointment for me was just how weak this particular stunt was. Wisdom of crowds indeed! Actually felt that was almost at a level where he was insulting the viewing audiences intelligence. Surely few could have been fooled by such an obvious piece of misdirection.

  • I think the key is in the camera change. It looks like he quickly checks the floor just before he waves to the far camera to make sure he's standing in the right place. When it changes back there should be no time delay so his hands should be in almost exactly the same position. I might be wrong and even if I'm not, this does not lower my opinion of Derren, imagine how many people watched and scratched their heads. Thats the main thing.

  • He can't show them now becuase then everybody who watched this would bet on the same ones and the lottery whould lose all their money XD

  • Check this out lazylottery*com/

Just replace the * with a period

  • Don't waste your time on finding the trick ....

I worked for Derren on that trick ... and it's a trick for sure ... I made those "special" lottery balls to inject black color (just like a printer) from inside so with just 6 remote controls they colored the winning numbers ...

  • @RAZcracK Oh thats how he did it!.. hey did you know my friend is from the lost city of atlantis? yeah i visit him from time to time.. very nice actaully. nice people down there

  • u guys are fucking idiots... u cant just "buy" the correct lottery ticket because you get given 1.... and it would have been illegal to show a live broadcast of him saying he predicted it

  • @tributeforlife

you can pick the numbers on the ticket if you wish to, in australia tleast.

  • I love the idiotic comments that say 'this is fake, if it we're real he would have bought a lottery ticket'. No duh brainiacs.

  • hahahaha... derren brown is good but this is shit. just like everyone else said, he should of bought a lottery ticket and posted video of him collecting his winnings.

  • If it was real he would have bought a ticket and that wudda been his proof. :D

  • i wonder if he predicted i would say "bullsh1t"

  • He is very good at his other work!! but this one was the worst!!

it is a clever trick however it is the work of the camera that is making this look like it is?

one half is still the other half isn't ..

the left hand side was filmed previous...

it was revealed so just look it up on google

  • This is so shit. I like his other stuff, but what does this have anything to do with the human mind.

All the time he's standing like a statue with his hand over his mouth. Suspicious much? And why the hell didn't he show the numbers before hand? He's changing them in the process?

    What a f**king cock. It's obviously a camera trick.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is clearly a fan-boy/girl who has been f**king hypnotised by Derren's bullshit.

Spent one year on this lame shit? What a cock.

  • @DivineAtheistWannabe Captain Oblivious to the rescue.

  • @DivineAtheistWannabe he cant show the numbers before BBC does you fucking ignorant cunt. he already said that DURING THE FUCKING VIDEO..get that fucking CUM out of your ears and watch the video again. stupid shit

  • I agree with you lawlessq, before i even read your comment i saw a cut at 3:40 ish. I think you can see the ball very very slightly raises between the time 5:39 - 5:41, you might have to go full screen to see it. i am a very big derren brown fan. and i have to say i am a little disappointed. . . . .

  • Comment removed

  • he is gud but theres a blaint cut on 5:38

  • If he can predict numbers maybe he should buy a lottery tiket more often.

  • so he told us the lottery numbers just after the lottery numbers, wow

  • Is this guy a Freemason? If not, it doesn't matter. This my friends has a very big taste of RIGGED in it. There's only one way he would guess the numbers, and it has a lot to do with HERMETICS, and William Shaw......

  • the reason he can only show the national lottery just after it's actually been announced is becos he needs time to quickly change HIS numbers so that they match.

  • There's more cuts between 5:31-5:41!? Look at them yourself, FAKE!! Sorry Derren, I was a big fan!

  • I can't see it

  • SO FAKE! Check 5:38 on this video?! There's a blatant cut?! An as if the BBC would be saying its our legal right to show the lottery numbers first when Derren is only predicting them? I mean come on, does he think we're all stupid & gullible? Look at the roulette event?! The stooge guy has no reaction to seeing himself AND his house on TV until Derren asks him if he can see himself? I lost all respect in Derren through these jokes he called "The events" Event2, did you get stuck to your couch?!

  • How The FUK Can u Fukin Guess WAt Balls R Gna Cme Out Wen They Cme Out At Random....DERREN BROWN IS FULL OF SHIT!!!!! YES HE IZZZ!

Hu Eva Believs Dis IS Also A Thik Fuk

  • its all a load of rubbish if you ask me,the legal issues were a cover story for his trick, they can if they want lift this legal measure and let him put his numbers up first, its there decision who puts the numbers on screen first seen as its there programme. and also he could have bought his own ticket couldnt he?!?then theres no legal issue and hes proving if he really can do his trick.

  • A guy walks in and replaces the lottery balls while the numbers are being announced. Meanwhile the left half of the screen is replaced with a static image so you never see the guy replacing the balls. When he's gone the static image overlaying the left half of the screen is removed and nothing seems to have changed (except one of the balls has moved slightly, oops). It can be done with a handheld camera, or (easier) the camera can be on a tripod and fake shaking added.

    It's a cheap trick.

  • @drdirs i was wondering why the camera completely unnecessarily moved so much. it would be normal to have it rigged on a stable stand as it didn't need to move at all.

  • Well smokill3r the reason the balls weren't facing us was explained :) brown said tht the BBC have the legal rite to be the first to display the lotto numbers. If brown had show us his numbers at the begging, and got them right, he would have done something illegal :$

  • no he would only be revealing his prediction not the actual numbers at the time. i think you have to have faith in derren brown to get past these crap 'events' hes brought out. now i know how jesus stayed famous after his tricks and illusion shows... actually wasnt jesus 40 when he died? derren browns like comin up for 39 in feb haha. hu wudda known the second coming would be a gay ginger

  • actually it is believed he was around 32 ish.... nice try tho

  • Cool trick! Now to try and find the reveal...

  • i figured it out... The balls all got a number display at their front and digitally placed when the numbers are called. could be remote or wired from the podium their in. Why wasn't the balls facing us in the 1st place? lol they got digital screens on their fronts so the numbers are punched in by someone off camera.. as he said it was a trick.. there now we know..lol

  • Woo! Derren is obviously a bearded witch and in league with Satan and all his little pixies. Burn him! Burn him! (Derren, not Satan).

  • check out the ball on the far left at time index 5:40!

    it moves

    its a camera trick

    very diossapointed in derren

    ginger

  • i reckon he done 3rd optionion

  • Something obviously happens to the lottery balls displayed on the screen between when all the balls are announced and when he shows them to the viewer, I'm not sure how he did it though

  • Hmm, odd indeed. This is supposed to be a prediction of the lottery numbers and yet the numbers are only shown after the lottery numbers have been announced. Maybe I have this wrong but doesn't the word 'predict' imply that you say something is going to happen before it does? What DB does here cannot be said to be prediction at all. He merely reveals a set of balls after the event. Now, if he had announced it beforehand in some form, that would be a prediction. But, of course, he cannot.

  • "He merely reveals a set of balls", like any given porn actor. Nothing special, indeed.

  • @deloreanized

Trying to make a joke, EPIC FUCKING FAIL! :D

  • @deloreanized

Trying to make a joke, EPIC FUCKING FAIL! :D

  • @asbald

Go to 1:00 and listen again, there are legal rights involved that prohibit anyone else for showing the numbers before the BBCunt does... :D

  • @asbald Actually he didn't show them before because he wasn't allowed to legally (how convenient), so he had to write it down and show it later.

  • thanks for info! Have you saw this "Lottery master from vermont" big winner (do a google search)? Ive seen real extraordinary things about him and with my buddy we thinking about many of cash to get with his system. how to use ^ Vermont lottery master way to make money.

  • @asbald wow, you're saying that a known magician and mentalist where performing a trick, surely no one would be able to figure that one out by themselves.

sarcasm aside it's not that it's a trick that's amazing it's simply the question of how he did it that's is interesting. i think even though i know it's a trick, it's pretty impressive.

  • cinquepalmi knows how

  • Like any trick there are a lot of misdirections here.

Simple question, why not have had the numbers in clear display right from the beginning or even on a banner over the TV?

Why did the group go from 24 to 23 with poor old Tyler(?) getting the boot because he couldn't do auto writing? Does this mean that the crowd has to be made up of only "sympathetic" individuals.

Why not send the numebrs to a charity and get them to buy a ticket with a refund if they weren't right?

    Get real

  • What, you mean that you though it was plausible up untill that point!!!!???

People can't predict lottery numbers from other random numbers if you think that you are an idiot.

Also I'd like to point out that doing a mean of the lottery numbers is meaningless as non of the ball are related to each other number wise because what if the lottery balls were letters lets say and there could be. The number is meaningless.

  • I think "Tyler" was a plant and part of Brown's team.

  • They were all part of DB's team. Rachel was just a little too entusiastic..cute...but not cute enough.

As dedringer2 aslo points out so errrmmm ....eloquently .... taking an average is pointless. and anyway why 24/23 why not 100, or 60 or 1000. It is all misdirection.

And who says there were only 3 ways of doing it? Why not a 4th of faking it?

  • tbh if he could do all the time he would be a fucking billionaire so i think its fake :)

  • no hes banned form it

  • he would be more excited if he actually got them correct cos he would have bought a lotto ticket as well

  • He's banned from lottery

  • yup :D

  • He didn't buy a ticket.

  • He should have :p

  • if it was not real theres no point in showing it

  • total bullshit

  • how did he do it then?

  • well say bullshit like we cant turn a tv on untill so on

  • so, how did he do it?.I missed it

  • What he should have done is bought a ticket obviously with his predicted numbers and then if he had won donated the winnings to charity or something

  • agreed, its obviously a scam

  • Its entertainment. If you don't like or appreciate that, just don't watch him, simple as that.

  • anyone else thinking that the 'lottery predictions' are a big smoke screen for something else. He needed to make sure that the nation tuned in for this and for the 'how he did it broadcast' even though that turned out to be a load of 'balls'. I think theres some message he's trying to impress upon people in these. I mean how many times does he announce who the voice of the balls is. hmmmmm

  • Did anyone notice the first draw was 23?

    But he predicted 02?

Though he did predict the numbers in the exact orders.

  • no they put the numbers in order of smallest to biggest!

  • umm, I think he predicted the numbers and then put them in order.

ofcourse it is a trick, but it was a very good one

  • fake?

  • Yes of course it's fake. He's an illusionist, that's the point... :-)

It's a good trick though, even though I was disappointed to see there had been no audience (I had seen people claim that there had been). That means it was probably just some kind of banal camera or post processing trick...

  • Listen, we all know the theories about moving balls and split screens, so no one else needs to tell us about them.

just believe what you like and enjoy the trick

  • between 6.05 and 6.12 when he is touching the balls some of them are moving by themselves if you watch closely.

  • That's only because they're packed closely together; touch one of them and they all move slightly.

  • Check out the far left ball at 5min 40/41 seconds it mysteriously rises all by its self??????????

    Def split screen!!!!

(This man is an illusionist after all!)

  • this is truly all shit

  • the balls on the glass stand could easily have been electronically run with led's inside. if he really wanted to convince us then why not show us his prediction before the lottery draw begun.

i now realize theres no way he could have done it by that average thing with the 24 people. is his experiment how to control the nation on friday going to try and hypnotise us the viewers or jsut people on the show cause if its the latter what a fake

  • when he says "28" the camera natural shake suddenly stops and the picture is absolutley still.....why?

  • Did anyone else notice that from the moment he turned the television on he was talking constantly until the numbers were drawn, trying to cover something up?

  • how did he do it????

i think it may be camera trick but is that what he reveals, plzzzzzzzzz tell me if you know

    :)

  • Derren gave three options as to what it could be, for which he gave very detailed information about how he would have had to go about each one - fake a ticket, average numbers and fix the machine.

However, he left one option out which is, of course, camera trickery. Why leave out this option?

This is because he would have had to explain how that could be achieved and people would see it as the most plausible explanation.

  • BULLSHIT!

    WANKER!

  • its all recorded up to the camera coming back after the second cut from distant camera then it goes live on a different but fixed camera. you dont see it cos of the first bit been recorded. no dicernable changes in perspective between near and distant objects confirm this. camera shake must be added later. all conditions in place to perform this with even the cheapest of camera / live editing equipment using split screen.

  • Just before he waves over to the camera at the back you can see Darren look at his marker on the floor so the recorded intro and live bit will look seamless......Absolutely agree! I was wondering how the free hold cameraman got out of shot for the mounted camera with shake fx to take over.

  • Why cant he show his prediction? its just his prediction! nothing illegal to show that? bullshit right there

  • Complete and utter bollocks. Titillation and nothing more.

  • So Derren, did you give your prediction to an independent group of people beforehand to prove you weren't using hundreds of possible cheats?! Sorry no dice then as several other youtube videos show how it was done!

  • cambridgelady789, lol, I just checked back on this for the first time since Saturday, good to see you again :)

It's definitely a split screen camera effect, absolutely 100%. I can confirm that to you now. I'll explain it exactly if you PM me.

  • Hi inthebox! :)

I totally agree it could be a camera trick etc .... but ..... if I hear the sound of hooves I tend to assume it's a horse not a zebra. My solution is far simpler and, the more research I do, ever more plausible. I just want someone to come on here and confirm exactly when the draw takes place. Until then we'll have to agree to differ :o) Fun debating this with you .... he's certainly got people thinking!

  • Utter Shit if you was so sure you would post your theory on Youtube! you all speak shit! Derren Brown would be laughing at everyones ridiculous comments! Have you people ever watched Derren Brown? He doesnt beleive in the paranormal of any kind of mysticism! He tells you its a bloody trick for fuck sake, so stop saying its fake becuase WE KNOW THAT

  • actually a lot of people HAVE posted their theories on youtube, so there's no need for the majority of us to do so.

  • That was sent in reply to one particular person, not to everyone. DSorry if that confused you. x

  • lol

you said "you all speak shit" and "everyones rediculous comments" so it was more misleading than confusing, but it all makes sense now! ;)

  • he did not post his therory on utube it was on channel 4 you idiot and he is a masterind u fucking dickhead

  • Im not on about Derren Brown you fucking idiot! i know hes a mastermind i do work very similar to him and i fully respect his showmanship more than most! I watched it on channel both wednesday and friday! Dickhead

  • watch 1st ball on left from 5:39 it rise a bit and and he w8ed for 6th nr? he know its just 5 ? (we wanned to buy some time to do trick)

  • if its live how are they suppost to stop it and change balls?lol

  • omg thing!!! its a F$%^ trick, check youtube its plenty revieling video, BUT CHECK BALLS B4 5:39 and AFTER & IF U CAN C IT GO TO SPECSAVERS !!!!!!

  • There's a site called lotterypost (com) (I don't seem able to post a link here????). If you look under lottery results, UK, then scroll down, this site claims the midweek draw is held at 8pm. Now is this correct? .... because if it were ..........

  • wow hes really got you all fooled hasnt he ? the guys a legend

  • I was absolutely slated on here last Friday ..... very frustrating to find Derren didn't reveal the "trick". My suspicion, backed up by some "evidence" found via Google, is that the lottery draw actually occurs at 8pm - it is the broadcast of the film of the draw that is "live" from Lottery HQ. Can anyone confirm or disprove this suspicion??

  • The camera in the back makes no sence, there's only one shot from that camera and it shows that the camera in front of derren is hand-held but that's what he wants you to think, actually it's a fixed camera with a wobble effect put in to it (live). You can see a few seconds before he goes to the balls the camera suddenly stops wobbeling and stay's perfectly still, also the movement to the left is something you would excpect from a fixed camera

  • that's also my theory, the part before he pus his hands down is pre recorded, effectively hiding the fixed camera that was used for almost all of the trick.

  • exactly, als the sound of his "hello" sounds a little bit of there.

  • WOW what the heck?

  • not "technically" a split screen, but a frozen image laid over the balls on the left. hence the snowflake in the trail. and the hint of the left screen on the juggling advert. hmm. it's all to easy to solve. i think it's part of a bigger trick (perhaps on all of us) to be revealed later.

  • yeah probably right his speech would stutter between the first camera cut if live. so he just captures a freeze of the live camera and lays the paused image over where the balls are. ok. he keeps hinting the left with his arms.

  • Well if the motherfucker was so damn smart why the fuck didn't he buy a winning ticket?

  • camera 1 must be live or why have camera 2 in the first place just show an empty room on camera 1. i don't think camera 1 is pre-recorded (ie. it could be pointlessly) but 2 definitely is. derren gives too many clues in this trick. (the snowflake ect.) it is also too simple a trick. i think this trick is a bluff to be revealed as such later in the events.

  • camera 1 (live : intro cuts off just before you see the room) camera 2 (pre-recoreded : to make room look empty) camera 1 again (live: camera man stops just left of the tv) camera 2 again (pre-recorded : camera man and derren waves arms) camera 3 (live : engages split screen very breifly as balls are read out)

  • timberwolfiii

this is also my theory, except i think EVERYTHING before he puts his hands down is pre recorded, check out his speech, asides the actual draw the only time he shuts up is when it switches back to the nearby "supposedly" hand held camera.

  • I'm a media student and apparently you can't use the "split screen" effect with a live feed.

    cheers

  • Your whole comment becomes irrelevant after "I'm a media student". Take a real subject.

  • I'm sure you wouldn't be saying that if you had studied any subject at all at university

    ill educated scrotal sack

  • lol

just had this arguement, turns out it's very easily done, there's videos on youtbe proving you can do it with a live feed.

  • looks like i'm being fed false info then

    someone's getting bitchslapped...

  • lol, there's plenty of it flying round here!

"of course you cant split screen a handheld live feed!"

"I used 24 highly gullible people, to waste an hour of your time."

    etc.

  • yeah

let's just accept it's a good trick and look forward to next weeks

hopefully conversation will turn to that next friday and that should be more positive

  • u do u know his names derren brown dumb ass

  • i was hopeing he would show the balls he pick just befor the lottery was shown it would have bin better

  • Yeah, it's a split-screen/camera trick.

Look closely at the balls around 5:40, you can see the left ball rise slightly.

  • Comment removed

  • his names derren brown u nob!

  • haha, cheap trick, very well done though.

  • Part 1:

This is how he does it! It's simply a split-camera technique. So just a camera trick in the end!

If you look closely on a big screen you will see that the six white balls throughout the first part of the broadcast are all in an even line and ironically there is a line of black bricks on the wall behind which acts like a ruler.

  • You should be shot for reading that piece of flith

  • Part 2:

Now after the last ball has been dropped if you look very carefully you can see that the ball on the left end has become slightly raised against the others and against the black bricks on the wall behind.

When Derren Brown turns the tray around you can clearly see that the ball on the end (now the right end) which is number 39 is slightly higher than the others as it has not been placed in the tray properly.

  • Part 3:

Therefore the balls at the end of the broadcast are NOT the same set as the ones at the start.

So split-camera effect (with artificial camera-shake) and a magician's assistant (with NO studio audience present) are the solution.

The arrival at the prediction is therefore irrelevant as the balls have simply been swapped during the live show.

  • Comment removed

  • Part 4:

The apparent semi-success of the 24 members of the group predicting previous lotteries is another independent scam to give some sort of false explanation for the prediction.

So TWO scams together and the whole thing nothing more than a conjuring trick to mislead and misdirect people - and play on their greed and gullibility!

See notorious internet Animator Cyriak on the Charlotte Gore website to see how he did it. In fact, he demonstrated it working!

  • No you are so dumb for not realising that we DO know how it was done. Long before your precious Sun, which got it from the likes of us!! LOL

It is funny how you think the Sun newspaper is gospel anyway!! The Comic as it is otherwise known!!

  • Watch my new vid to see if Derren can glue you to your seat... :)

  • TOG? I just had to google that, is it Terrys Old Geezers?!! As in Terry Wogan?!!

I am certainly not one of them!! God that is a long way off when I start listening to Radio 2!!

  • In addition to the ball raising by itself:

Why is Derren not writing the results as they are drawn or as soon as they all are? He says bonus ball doesn't matter but yet he is stalling despite already saying that they can't show much of the BBC feed.

Look at 5:25 he changes his hand position then after 5:27 he looks away from the TV to behind the balls as if to say "finish it up!"

I like how Derren scoffed at the idea of split screen on his "explanation show", but yet another misdirection!

  • Looking at your channel can I be ALL 24?!!! ;)

  • Something interesting I noticed. The"2" is "02", not just "2". Now why would he have done this? Why didn't he just put "2" on the ball. Makes me think that somehow the numbers on the balls have been somehow generated in some sort of generic way so they could accomodate either a 1 or 2 digit number. Anyway, just a thought...

  • lol

    you're neighbours will be gossiping!

  • i reckon you're spot on katie, the transition from recorded to live is done by using the other camera when he puts his hands down, at which point they actually cut to a very stationary camera made to look like a hand held, cos a hand held would be much more difficult to use a split screen with.

  • u think anyone in the world could predict that??????

    its a loud of bolucse

    if people believe this omg!

  • 5:46 I meant

  • I believe the trick happens just after 5:39 when if you look closely at the ball on the left it jumps up a few mm after the pre-recorded overlay is removed. I think the assistant wanted to put them into numerical order so it was a race against time and the last ball 39 was put in last.

There are zoomed in videos on youtube that show that ball jumping up.

  • Interesting. the ball rising is quite obvious. thanks for tellin me

  • Trick is at 5:53 right? there is clearly a merging of the live and pre recorded and not done too smoothly I might add despite using the shaky camera use to make it less noticeable.

  • My view is simple:

Show the numbers before the lotto balls drop = Genius

Show them after = Scam Artist

  • lol

no he's not a scam artist!

he's an illusionist; it's just a trick by his own admission!

  • The clear sign he's using some sort of trick is that he doesn't show the numbers beforehand. Do you honestly believe the BBC has a policy of "We have to announce the lottery numbers first"....wtf?? How could they have a rule/law around that? It assumes someone could announce them before they've been drawn :|

So yea this statement of his is obviously incorrect, and proves there is a trick going on.

  • 1:41 can anybody else see the little, subtle head shake that derren does?

  • Look at the camera movement. Does it look natural? Does it look like a highly trained cameraman? No. It doesn't.

Think about it... WHY is the camera moving like that?

    ;)

  • great trick derren brown is legend.

  • why couldn't he show his numbers before the draw?
