In the blue huts along the border, there stands each a south korean soldier guarding a locked door which would lead past those 2 north korean soldiers facing eachother at the concrete block, so technically that south korean guard is penitrating the border and is inside north korea. pretty weird.

I am American, I would embrace these people. I have no hate toward them at all, how can I. I cry for these people. Especially those in the countryside who are dying, the 40% who are children and malnurished. I hope that there is a peaceful way for the North Koreans to overthrow the tyranny they have been forced into for several decades. It is sad that Korean people might think that everyone hates them but truth be told most westerners do not think about N.Korea at all.

Yes, I feel just the same way. My kids have learned about Korea at home, partly from this documentary--they don't cover this situation in their schools at all. Frightening considering how dangerous this situation is becoming, and theirs is the generation that will have to deal with the maybe-literal fallout.

@MikeUSUK87 They are not as they are because they think you hate them... rather, the problem is Korea always being a shrimp between whales, and it has been played for thousands of years as a pawn in great power conflicts up till today. In the past it was between japan, russia and china. Today, it is between the USA and China. Korean unification can only happen if USA and China stops meddling in their affairs altogether. N.Korean will never accept reunification if USA is around to dictate terms.
