@jaketvee ahhh very nice I'm sorry just looked like a normal template you would download. You should look into using Geany. It's a text editor but it's color coded for programming and it's tabbed. Good piece of software I'd highly recommend it.

This is HTML 4 coding, people you should use XHTML combined with CSS and XML.

It's a good start though! but XHTML is alot better by leaps and bounds, it's still HTML though :)

You could make some kind of game, but not anything impressive. As far as you could go with HTML, without using any other languages like JavaScript, you'd have nothing more than a bad quiz like game. If you want to make games, may I suggest Game Maker from YoYo Games. It's free and lets you make really advanced games.

If you want to learn more you can do what I did and go to w3schools(dot)com they have great tutorials but they are set up in a more classroom style. I recommend just using what Jak-e started and as you want to add more you can search in w3schools for what you want to do.

Because it's only saved on your computer. It's not on the internet. To put it on, you would have to upload it to a host. Some free web hosts include Freewebs, Bravenet and AAA Abbey Hosting.

I don't know why it does that. It's a mystery. Are you sure there are no mistakes in your HTML file? One error can mess up the whole document.

No, there are lots of different languages that can be used in websites. The only other one I know is JavaScript which is used to add dynamic content to a page.

I'm glad you found this video useful. HTML can be used on any site and is used to create the structure of the site. PHP is used to make things work: like login/logout forms; user registration; polls, etc. CSS is used to add style to an HTML document - change fonts, colours, sizes, positioning, backgrounds, etc.
