I disagree with holidays named after a person. why, just to give honor to that person for whatever reason he/she had done? why not give honor to God or to a country's success? If you really want to keep at least the honor what Martin Luther King did, then change the holiday's name into the name what he had done.

@nickz777 They do give honor to god, it's called Christmas AND Easter. They also give honor to America's success, it's called the 4th of July, V.E. day, and in some places still, like where i live, V.J. Day. Don't worry about his name.
