@Sieglinde84: Occupational hazard. :) In my experience, other hazards include collisions with bass drums and near-decapitations by sousaphones, and that's just in marching band.
You should take a look at some of my other videos with J. Mark McVey (esp. Bring Him Home and What Have I Done?), he's actually a very powerful singer but he also knows when to be subtle. In this scene, Valjean is supposed to be quiet because he doesn't want the insurgents to overhear.
They shoot the poor orchestra! :D

very well done!!!! i dont think valjean is that much of a powerful singer though... i love the enjolras!!!

@marla9430 -- Yeah, out of the 10(ish) Valjeans I've seen onstage, I would have to say that McVey has the most powerful voice of them all.
