It IS illegal if there is coordination. Just look at all that footage of Ronnie Musgrove. That's footage shot specifically for this commercial, with Ronnie Musgrove's consent. Candidates can NOT have any coordination with IA ads (Issue Advocacy ads), which can get around fundraising/spending limits.

This isn't illegal. It's not advertising Ronnie Musgrove for the Senate. It's simply informing us about what he did as governor. Yes, it may imply that you should vote for him, but it doesn't come out and say it, so it is NOT illegal.
