You know what I love/hate about valve, its those cliffhangers. I hated the ending of thos episode. Just when you were about to get answers *Poof* Eli dead. But how will you get answers now? From Gman himself maybe?

I think G-Man would like to have full control over Freeman, really.. More like just loading him up with even more puppet strings than before.

It probably means he wants to help him more so he doesn't die or in some cases control him more to also prevent death, but whatever commands GMan won't let him.

I've heard many a theory that Gordon Freeman actually IS the Gman, and if this is the case, the "control" he has over Gordon is simply historic.
