Does distortion/palm muting apply to acoustic guitars?

If your acoustic can be plugged into an amp, then yes, you can distort it (which sounds awesome by the way, haha)
Palm muting can be applied to basically any guitar at all. Although my classical guitar is a bit harder for palm muting.
