I red Darth Bane trilogy and Bane didn´t die. In battle with darth Zannah he tried to possesed her but unseccesful, so he remain stuck in somelimbo state for all eternity. So it would totaly messed up the whole story.
dudes dont whine how it should been....i saw a LOT of characters in Sw that didnt die or got escaped. There is actually no point id getting killed in sw..you can come back 2 episodes later anyway....if they want to.

Also because of revan being involved in the new old republic game the clone wars could have created controdictary material like they have so often I think lucas was smart to remove characters that could appear in current future works as canon rape alienates fans but thats never stopped him before so maybe there are other reasons

I raped the Mandalorian, brought the republic to there knees then took down my own empire and saved the galaxie twice. Im done now let these new jedi and sith have the spot light. @xlrwolf10 If you knew anything about KOTOR, you would know that Revan opportunistically switched sides where it suited his purposes, as Kreia/Darth Traya tells you in KOTOR2 at the end. So he may well have left advice as a dark lord behind ... even if that isn't true, he may have made the holocron when he was a dark lord and simply forgotten about it.

@Deathrider8923 I have played KOTOR, I have not read Bane books, but i have Bane action figure... But I also agree with DaughterOfMortisReal, Mortis Son is so epic. He is my favourite character of all time in Star Wars now.

@Deathrider8923 i wouldn't care about Bane. I would like to see a movie about Revan, but Son is epic, he can block sabers with his hand, he can morph. he has glowing red eyes. he just plain out looks awesome... He has a tragic death (people with emotional deaths are epic)...

@Deathrider8923 ik, Revan thought to die, but just lost his memories and was reborn (metaphoricly) into a Republic soldier, later learning he had the force, so bastilla took him to teh temple on Datooine and he got trained, then they run around the galaxy finding star forge maps, go on that big ship thing, escape it, your character finally realises he is Revan (he found out on the ship) Now they go to star forge... only crashing ont he unknown planet, then going to star forge. destroy malak. The thing is for Revan at least, the canon ending is where he rejoins the Jedi. He becomes the chronicler of the new temple on Dantooine until his winter years and he vanished when he decided to chase down the other jedi that went rogue with him originally. Some people think that Nihilus was one of these jedi.
@Stethacanthus what are your sources? revan soon after defeting malak remembers the true sith empire and goes to face it alone thats whrere kotor II comes in and the mystery of what happened to him because he never came back as well as he took his droids with him and programmed them to go back into republic space if something happened to him

Except that holocron was made when Revan was a Dark Lord, that's where all Revan related Sith Artifacts come from, his time as a Sith Lord.
After he went back to the light, he was never heard from again, meaning he made no more holocrons, Sith or otherwise, for people to come across.
