ALso, I got this to work on my HTC HD2 after like 3 hours, but if you cannot figure out how to get this to work for you, don't worry its not even that cool of a feature.

anyone who has windows 7 home premium IT WILL NOT WORK you need windows professional, because Microsoft wants people to pay more money to buy windows professional.

But, you can use a patch like I did and get it to work on windows 7 premium like I did. It took about 3 hours to get this to work, but if you have this problem tell me and I will post a link to a patch that allows remote desktop features on home premium without you having to pay to get upgraded to professional.

@raskuba Remote desktop services (or terminal Services on older version of Windows) has to be enabled on the computer you are connecting to. The service is not on home editions of windows, only professional (or Vista business) and ultimate versions. Instead of a terminal you're probably better off using an RFB app like RealVNC.

After spending sometime with that phone, I figured out how to solve those problems.

First of all, you need to enable TCP/IP forwarding. For some it's already enabled, for some is not. In order see whether it's enabled or not, open CMD and use ipconfig.

In order to enable it open RegEdit through the search, and find this HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Curr­entControlSet\Services\Tcpip\P­arameters , put the parameter 1. Restart your computer and you're ready to go. Open cmd write again ipconfig and look your IP. In the login and password you enter your username and password from your computer. If you don't have password leave it blank.

Yeah its built in, so you'll be good.

Just be aware that your Windows version will define how much of a headache you have getting it to work. Home versions arent supposed to have this function, there are ways of getting around this however so its no prob.

When you FINALLY get it to work, you'll have a blast - trust me.

@Mikaeellum - did you establish a connection first? I had so much trouble at first, but I didn't realized that I had to have a Wifi connection before I made attempt to connect to Remote Desktop. Now, i am able to VPN and Remote desktop to my work computer.
