@8willthethrill8 In the video it has a 3" spacer lift with an add-a-leaf in the rear. Wheels are 16x8 Procomp 4" backspacing. Tires are 285/75/16 ~33".
thanks for the info, my truck is actually a 2000 trd and i read on tundra solutions that the 00 and 01 had no lsd available, i just finished putting the locker in today along with 4.56 gears as well front and rear and WWOOWW the truck feels great, im only running 33" tires so when i throw it in 4Lo and gun it this thing launches!! i noticed why the lockrite had the bad rep for being noisy i can hear the "click click click" on some sharper turns but nothing too bad whats so bad bout wet driving?
@superclownhero Nice! Yeah 4.56 with 33's must be fun! There's nothing bad about driving in wet, the rear end might swing out more around corners now that its locked...just something to be remember once the rain starts, but you get the hang of it!! Good luck...
hey bro nice truck, i have a quick question for you, i just got the same locker for my 2000 trd tundra. did you have any trouble removing the factory trd limited slip out and dropping the powertrax in there at all?

@superclownhero Thanks! No 2000's had LSD's, only open diff. Thats the reason I put the locker in. I had no troble removing the 3rd member and installing the locker. It just takes time and patience and some mechanical skills. Just follow the directions and you'll be fine. Actually I just recently removed my powertrax and installed an ARB Air Locker, now its selectable and I'm very happy. But both work very well, just the ARB suits my style of driving better. Thanks, and good luck!
hey bro nice truck! i just got the powertrax no slip locker for my 2000 trd tundra. i just have a quick question for you, i have heard that this locker wont fit in the diff if you had a limited slip in the diff before. did you have any trouble taking the factory limited slip out and dropping the no slip powertrax in there?
@superclownhero You're right. This locker will not work in Tundra's with LSD because the carrier for the LSD is different then an open diff carrier. So if your Tundra is a 2000 or 2001 you will not have to worry because these years no Tundra came with LSD. 2002 and above some came with LSD, so you'll have to check that by either looking for a tag on the diff that says 'LSD Oil Only', or jack up the rear end and spin the tires, if they both spin in the same direction you have LSD.
Do you notice any popping from the Powertrax as you are turning on the street? I've heard their Lock-Right does, but from reviews the No-Slip seems to be better suited for street use. What do you say? I'm about to pull the trigger on one for my '89 K5 and I'd appreciate your input.
@clandr80 No poping at all with this locker, but the lockrite I heard is louder like you said. I would opt for the no-slip is you drive more on the street since its quitier. One thing I did not like about this locker was the way you have to drive with it. You have to change your habits when its wet, icy, or snow, the rear like to whip out. Also it wears the tires faster. I recently replaced it with an ARB and could'nt be any happier. More money yes, but selectable. Good luck!
tundras aint bad. i was driving my cousins on route 80 going to pa and i raced some bro in a civic and let me tell you that truck had no problem passing 100mph
Yeah. Fuck that was cool when you did those donuts in the dirt. Sick!!!! My buddy just his 6" procomp Stage 1 lift in the mail today for his 08'. Installing it ourselves...hopefully.
