He's doing 40-50 indicated on a motorcycle. Unless he has a speedo healer, he's doing 7-10% less than that. Motorcycle speedometers read fast. Also, going a bit faster than the rest of traffic is a safety thing. It actually helps you stand out. When you pace with the pack, you blend in more. You don't want to go *way* faster than everyone (also dangerous), but you do want to be going bit briskly faster. It doesn't look like he's sucking anyone's headlights out here.
Gotta practice your panic stops so they're not panicked anymore!! Do them when no one is around so ya dont lock up like that when it's truly a necessity!
I locked the front wheel on mine and wrecked, no fun at all!
why are you people mad at him for going fast, speeding is a choice, like i speed on my motorcycle so i can be away from cars and their idiot drivers who dont bother to look for us
Yes the motorcyclist is at fault for going over the speed limit. None of you can tell me that yall haven't exceeded the speed limit in your lifetime. I'll be the first to say after something like that happens to me, my heart skips a beat and you reflect on what could have been a very bad situation.
@theheatwave2001 Nobody is at fault. Nothing happened. If he would have been doing the speed limit, he still would have had to use the breaks to stop. Just not as much.
@theheatwave2001 you also cant tell US that YOU havent done it too. I stick to the speed limits as much as I can , too many of the po po around to start speeding , even then I DEFINATELY wouldnt start speeding where there is a danger of something like that happening.
And all the petty bickering aside. From one rider to another, I'm glad you weren't hurt, mate. Truly.
