Dear Mark, your beer reviews are the best on Youtube, but because there are so many you've done I want to watch several in a row. However, they are all too long for my taste, include extraneous graphic elements and don't always get straight to the point. I hope you take my criticism seriously, I don't mean to offend. I'd LOVE to see consistent reviews that demonstrate the beer, brief info, and tasting notes, and then done. 2 minutes!!

I didn't think it was bad, but it didn't taste like beer at all. It just tasted like a boozy port.

I've never been a big fan of barley wines. I'd be interested to see what Mikkeller can do with the style. I've never had any of their beers but I've heard great things.

I wonder if the name was some kind of misinterpretation of Frank Thomas's nickname? LOL

Haha...I doubt it's a play on the big hurt, but nice try. As for barley wines, if you don't care for them stay clear of this one. It's one of the biggest I've had - almost felt like I should pour it over waffles it's so sweet and thick. Hmmmm...now I'm getting ideas. Let me go get some bacon and...

Been meaning to try some of the Mikeller wild ales. I should pick one up next time I buy some beer. Can't wait for our trade. cheers and feel better!
