@TheDevenrocks 6 inch and the 20" wheels with the tires give it a little higher lift, the best part of this lift even with the big wheels hardly any fender rub at all, this truck rode like a dream for the lift and tires. No "lift bounce" to it.

i have a question for you all, whats the deal with the new duramax's exhoust pipe?

If you arespeaking about the tip of the exhaust where it looks like someone welded a larger pipe at the end. It goes back to help control emissions on the truck, the larger pipe allows cool air to run through the final stage of the exhaust to help cut down on the excess fuel burning off the truck. Z71 is just a package that makes the truck amazing, it is a suspension package, give the truck better towing capability, and makes it more stable and stirdy.

Z71 gives you a more aggressive tire and different wheel options, skid plates for off road protection, slightly stiffer shock and bigger stabilizer bars. There is a different package for towing.

Just depends on the type of lift you are going for. They have body lifts out there that give the look but then the real deal is a suspension lift that give you true off road performance.

The power has nothing to do with it in this case. Diesel motors are to heavy heavy, they wiegh down on the front tires and push it down in the mud and once youve done that good damn luck on getting it out without a good truck or tractor lol, not saying anyhting bad about the diesels they justarent good for mudding.

Damn Thats Pretty good i have a 2004 chevy silverado i have a white leather interior and the truck has 16000 miles on it its 4x4 Z71 duramax allison trans. it was $36000 Ive Had It For Like a Year beautiful truck and it has 16 in chrome wheel and 35 inch mud tires it has navigation sys too onstar and heat seats all that truck has and maybe more dvd sunroof everything i love my truck its summit white like that one but i like that one better tho can we do a trade in.

well the lift is nice and the rims and tires also, but i gotta say that the body style is not going for me, i own a 01 silverado and love it, but like what you said my favorite of all times is that 97ish body style with that 350 z71 ext cab!! thats a good truck! the dislikes about the new ones is the front bumper!! and the side panels that flair out with the bik lights and big body just does not go together like the other years did!

I get mixed reviews on the new bodystyle, some love it and some don't like it as much. About 50/50 on it. I am also able to sell GMC from my dealership as well. The number one like and dislike the headlights. I like the newer bodystyle though, personally but my favorite is the 1997 Silverado Ext. Cab Z71 in white.
