  • this just confused me even more.

  • lots of ways to skin a cat....in this problem just convert to 1 meter = 39.4 in. and you skip several of the steps shown...less chance of error

  • 10th like! lol

  • The mistake is that he didn't account for the Sig Fig. The Sig Fig is 2 because 34 has two digits. so its 86 M. not 0.86M. (Significant Figure).

  • Oddly, I found this confusing, while your video on Multiple Step Diminsional Analysis made perfect sense! Oh, well, im wierd, thanks for posting.

  • thank you i can finanlly undestand my math homework

  • It is people like you that make the internet great. You are doing a service to so many people. Thank you with much respect.

  • tst

  • thank you for posting. I suck at math

  • who knew youtube could help me with my finals?

  • This small video explained more to me than a week of my chemistry teachers explanations :)

  • What was the mistake? That you shouldn't have rounded in the end? It never said to round xD

Nice video though, I finally got the "Make units cancel out" thing in my head.

  • That's my chemistry teacher at work! It's so funny...this was one hard thing to learn in Chemistry class, but over the next summer, I used this process around 5 times...finally! Something from school that applies directly to life!

  • I still didn't get what he was doing, hard to hear him, and he needs to have the paper he's working on away from the screen so it shows bigger to see it better.

  • How could you post that at the end for a such a comlex subject. I got .79 another way, is this answer reasonable?

    34in|1ft/12inches|3.3meters/12ft| = 112.2/144 = .79 meters.

So going back to the video, what was the mistake that was done. Just curious.

    Thank you

  • You may want to check your conversion factor from meters to feet. 12 feet equals 3.6576 meters. As far as unit canceling your method works great.

  • Thank you!!! I really needed to see that done in a simple way for my Chemistry class, and it made so much sense!!! ^ ^

  • dont be meam hes great
