I saw this same rig years ago on a discovery or history channel show about Stonehenge. I still takes many people. Try it on soft ground and not just cement and see how easy it is. Also try controlling it versus controlling a sledge down a hill. Not saying its not a good idea but do the variables.

even if the car was at the bottom i would bet i could get the car standing back up top by myself at my whooping 110 lbs. even on sand. if the outside was wrapped in plywood thin discs will dig in sand a flat cyclinder will roll might even extend it out from the center to be sure it can disperse the weight. being small makes you find ways to move heavier things. look up tesla's earthquake machine. how 15 pounds can move a building. rock and roll aint noise polution just a way to set things moving

not one to be negative good work really but man i think you were a little excited there guess i would be too, super heavy things can be hard to move even if round such as a roll of metal i tried rolling one on asphalt couldnt even budge it had to use a giant forklift to move it but i'm sure if you porportionized the size of the circle to the weight of obeject or stone this technique might well have been used good work!

Youre talking about superheavy things. But this car is not part of the superheavy family.
First of all its a very small car.
Second, take out the motor and other invisible parts and it will be not more than 500 kilos.
Third, he uses a lock to hinder the roll to turn in a way that the car will be where it should be: on the bottom.
This is using potential energy. With the car on bottom he wouldnt be able to roll it.

good observation about the lock, as far as heavy things i think this could have potential. I think the car is just an example, from what i gathered he is saying they used this in ancient cultures, it has potential check out some of his other videos. Also my favorite is the guy from montana wally wallington, he uses the potential energy you refer to amazing what he can move! balance point

I saw this same rig years ago on a discovery or history channel show about Stonehenge. I still takes many people. Try it on soft ground and not just cement and see how easy it is. Also try controlling it versus controlling a sledge down a hill. Not saying its not a good idea but do the variables.

A car weighs only about 1.5 tonnes. If u tried that with a stone the size of a car u would considerably exert yourself. Now imagine a bigger rock and an up and downhill parts on an uneven sandy ground. It would have taken quite a crowd to roll that rock I would say...

if the idea is to push something that is heavier than something you can normally push, that's just stupid. when you put it in the "egg," the force required is lessened. this isn't any kind of breakthrough any more than a lever is.
