- Best siege units (that makes them an excellent offensive team)

- Quite fast and cheap units (with some exception)

- Very low team in movements (infantry have high rexistance but is damn slow, although very dangerous in charge)

Battle wagons suck. I love dwarves but the wagons can only kill like 2 archers (not 2 archer hordes i literly mean 2 archers) then they die. Dwarves are probably my favorite faction though.

Goblins are fucking awesome! :D Only a military genius can pwn with them XD If you all havn't noticed, People send calvary first or the whole army (: Well one nice tunnel far behind the base, muraders, spider riders, and giants is all you need ^-^ As the muraders, spiders, and giants charge infantry and archers amerge from tunnel and as soon as muraders pwn calverly, send in infantry and archers and behold! :D Total WIN!

Cool game,but in hard and brutal mode it just gets too difficult.Every 20 seconds the opponent attacks.It is impossible to create a vast army of your own and make an assault.

hey dude nice video and thnks for uploading it! Actually Dwarves and Isengard use almost the same strategies. I mean that both of them have a strong economy and their units need to be upgraded with armor and etc however I agree with the alorario: Every single faction has its own pros and cons there is no better faction if u know how to play! And wodendog these polls are also made by EA so to see from the players what the weaknesses of each faction are so they can improve them(mordor no cavalry)

i like the elves best cause of all the good spells the archers and the mithlonds mirkwoods are not battle archers they are defencive and tower archers the loriens are the battle archers they shoot faster. loriens may not have as much damage dealing power but there are more of them than mirkwoods in a squad so go loriens

I like elves the most. What i do is just produce a massive army of only lorien archers and ugbrade them with elven armour and silverthorn arrows. And if they have a custom hero nearby with a leader bonus and if they are at lvl 5, then they are enourmously great.

The beauty of this game and what makes online so good is the fact that all fractions are almost exactly the same strength which is really rare for strategy games coz usually there is always some weaker and some stronger fractions in other games.

Dwarves are the best in my opinion as long as you use them right - which means not to use them vs Goblins coz Gobs are probably the best VS dwarves since dwarven hit points dont help much and their attack time is slow.

Well, the Goblins expand and use more units at once than any other faction, they are cheap to make and can travel anywhere on the map at an instant, the Dwarves are quite the same but you do not use that many units, rushing with either of these factions puts your enemy in a state of stress, i'm a Goblin, Elven or Dwarven player, depends on my mood. I think Gondor is the worse faction as they are very boring to play with.

The guy said that dwarves have a high amount of hitpoints and are very tough. I find that this statement contradicts with another when he says dwarves are very quickly and cheaply made. So they are quickly made, very resilient, and very cheap. That seems like they are basically an unfair race. Shouldn't goblins be quick and easy to make considering they die in 1 hit from a dwarven guardian? That just seems plain unfair to me.

Since the update the dwarve guardians are not expensive but they willl take some time to get out on the field. A guardian rush can be destroyed easily if you know the strategy for it.

Gob warriors are 75 a piece, but guardians are 250 a piece. They are much faster, and have their poison ability from level one. Dwarves are great against buildings, but archers will decimate dwarves in short order, everything has a weakness.

Just go elves and build lorien archers, put them in offensive and guardians go down quickly, if they get close enough to attack your elves, run away and hit them again, they are fast enough to kite.

@Bidmartinlo True I got crushed by the elves, my only complaint for the dwarves is the battle wagon. its good in some cases but is hard to mass produce early in the game. I lost mainly due to archers.

What I like about Mordor is the units don't take up as much space in your cp. What I don't like about Mordor is the units are weak.

Yes that's the point of them. Low CP, cheap units, but very weak and does low damage. The point of Mordor is to mass produce the units so much like in the movies. The goblins have really become the new Mordor in BFME2.

I had a poll a few month ago ranking the Armies of Middle earth. Mordor finished dead last in the rankings.

The issue most people have is that they have no cavalry, they have weak early units, they require more buildings than any other army to build and upgrade all of their units, and they have no wall building capability.

Isengard on the the other hand, finished at the top. Isengard suffers from none of the things I mentioned above.

Dwarves: Tied Isegard for being ranked 1st the most frequestly, Ranked last more than any army (8 times), had the greatest amount of variance in scores.

Goblins: Had the second greatest variance amongst rankings

Mordor: Overall lowest ranking, Ranked 1st only by one person.

Isengard: Ranked highest (Average), ranked highest by the most people (tied with Dwarves), never ranked last by anyone.

Men: Ranked last only by one person, Had the Least amount of variance amongst rankings (they were ranked 3rd a lot).

I while back I posted a question on a 3 videos (Dwarf, Elf, Goblin Strategy) and asked youtubers to rank the Armies of BFMEII. I had some time to kill the other day, so I tallied all of the results from each page. 21 people responded, Here is the average rank each army was given:

1. Isengard = 3.05

2. Men = 3.00

3. Elves = 2.48

4. Dwarves = 2.43

5. Goblins = 2.24

6. Mordor = 1.81

1st = 5 points, 2nd = 4 points . . . . 6th = 0 points. I added up the points for each army and divided by 21.

Dwarfs make up for their slow movement with the mine. They can go from one side of the map to the other in 10 sec. A good guardian rush with a mine set up near an enemy base for reinforcements can destroy an enemy.

1. Elves-great unit if you want to deal some serious damage with elven upgrades such as silverthorn arrows with heroes during a foot siege. Mirkwood archers are overpower and invincible if you form a flank.

2. Men-they have the best harassment unit such as a Rohirrim batallion, good siege tech and Aragorn for major irritation on enemy structures and heroes.

3. Dwarves-best siege tech, tough units and basically the ultimate little killing machines but tad slow since they do not have horses.
