after a nuke the ground will be safe within 2 wks...so they could hide under ground, nuke us all, resurface, plant a 1000 people away in a distant corner of the globe,when they have babies it is arranged that they will bring them up like cave men whilst they clear away all signs of technology, then just sit back and enlighten us everynow and then...basically starting again...tell us the world is flat and we wont travell until they say we can..all this can be done within 1 month.....
