thought it was a great conversation.liked Harold Channer.he really livened it up.i'm a Thurman fan but his opinions are just that.they are not law.i think his solutions to things are just a little bit much.also the talk about terrorists is like hollering in a dark tunnel.both conversant talked over each other.just like kids.appreciated it.like to see mature intelligent men excited and upset over stuff.

To answer Lineageholder's question, what makes Robert Thurman an authority on Buddhism other than his academic qualifications? Robert Thurman was the first Westerner to become a Buddhist Monk. This is how he became good friends with the Dalai Lama decades ago. Buddhism does not use Biblical language, why would it? It is 5,000 years older than Christiananity.

What makes Bob Thurman an authority on Buddhism other than his academic qualifications? If you check his explanations of Buddhist ideas in his book "Why the Dalai Lama Matters" you will see that they are quite confusing and even misleading with their use of pseudo-scientific and Biblical language.
