  • i have this sheetmusic but i found it's very HARD

I hope i can play this piece in some day ^o^

May I ask you? what is the most difficult part of this piece for you?

and how long did you practice for this piece?

    Ps. thank you

  • Thank you for watching it and your comment.

For me, most difficult part is CODA.

I practiced it about 4 months until this concert, after that I have played it 3 times in front of audience, so I continue to practice it.

  • Is this piece harder than the Liszt Waldesrauchen? The Scherzo No. 3 by Chopin? I thought the piece was played nicely, I'm playing it right now. However, I thought some of the parts were messy.

  • I'm not sure whether this piece is harder than others or not. I think it depends on players background.

Yes, this performance was messy. Anyway thank you for watching it & your comment.

  • :]] i'm playing this song right now

  • Really? So I would like to listen/watch yours one day, please!

  • How do you manage the glissando on the black keys? I find it impossible!

  • It's painful, haha. My teacher taught me about black keys glissando, I use 1,2.& 3 fingers together, like a toy train goes down on these keys.

  • In my opinion the glissando in the black keys is the most fking part of this piece!!!!!!!

I can try it only one time a day, else my fingers burn , It's terrible!!!!!!!

  • there is a way of doing it so that it doesn't hurt much...:=) really!

  • very good. When you are playing this song, try to make it "flow". This piece, jeux de eau, was written by Ravel to capture the different sounds that water makes when it flows. By this, i mean keep a steady beat and don't change the dynamics too sharply...go from loud to soft and vice versa gradually.

  • Thank you for your advice. You are right. This playing was last November. Then my teacher told/taught me same as your advices. I comtinued to inprove my playing until last February, then my performance is changed a lot. Thanks again.

  • beautiful song, i enjoyed every moment of it

  • Thank you very much!

  • tokuni 1:35 ikou ga saikooo!!

  • Very beautiful!

You are very beautiful , too.

  • Hi! Thank you very much! I am so pleased. huhuhu...

  • althought you've played it fast...the music itself gets obscured by your virtuosity...the heart of the music is left in the background. Not to worry you can still develop that...i guess it comes with age.

  • Thank you for your comment & advice. I love this piece, so I want to keep my effort. Thanks again.

  • You captured the spirit of Ravel.... excellent. Thank You

  • Thank you for your comment. I'm so glad!

  • posture,,,

  • trai bon!!!!

  • well~

    what i can say is~

    work harder on it~

    Jeax Deau = Water

    it's juz a piece of sound~

but not sound of water~ erm... you get what i mean?

  • Pretty. Never heard of it. I am too focused on chopin and liszt to even look at ravel. But... I will get there someday. I love it. Keep up your good work. I hope your going to post la campanella. Are you?

  • too fast and too many mistakes for my liking.

  • Georgeous! :-)

  • enchanting - you are the perfect Ravel player :-)

  • good fast ;)
