Can somebody tell me just WHY someone thought making video games based off a doll was a good idea?

You could even make up your own events to try and complete within a set time. For example you could travel from one side of the island to the other, visiting several difficult to reach locations, and finding and collecting a set number of horse shoes or whatever along the way - while also trying to have the minimum number of accidents, and also keeping your horse well looked after so it doesn't go thirsty or require other care. The adventures you can have are only limited by your imagination!

I'm not a 5-8 year old girl. I've just been playing this game for over 6 hours, and I'm not bored with it yet! It's actually quite challenging in parts, and there are some interesting mysteries and ways to progress I've yet to discover, rather than being plainly shown where to go like most of the game. It will require some exploring. In addition you have to find a good route to places, also taking into account you'll need to care for the horse along the way if it's far, which I like.
