REVIEW: MAC Lustre Drops Style Warriors Collection

I just bought a product just like the Luster drops from Target its the NP Set Collection Liquid Veil in the color Bronze. Its on clearance 75% off so i got it for $3.50. The only thing is I think the fomula is thicker and the bottle is 1.06fl oz with a pump top. They had more color a pink, silver and gold.

i bought this in bronze hero, and I am SO disappointed. i bought it to mix with a few foundation i have that are too light for me in the summertime. I mixed maybe two little drops in. at first, it looks great. but after maybe 10 minutes, it turns my foundation PINK! hate this stuff!

Hmm. What moisturizer are using if any. It sounds that the product is oxidizing on your skin which may be due to your own body oils or a reaction to other chemicals on your face. I'm sorry you had less than great results because the stuff really is wonderful for some.

I never thought of that. I know it's not my mousturizer though, because I mix the drops and my foundation on the back of my hand, and it turns my hand pink as well.

Aw pooey! I missed out on the lustredrops and they are sold out everywhere around me. I was told that Maybelline has a dupe that is very very similar. Might have to check that out! Thanks for the review gurlfriend!

Many blessings find them. If you can't find it though..look for MAC Glimmershimmer. It can be found at CCO's and it does the same thing.

same here. I am in love with the pink rebel one and may be i will stock it up. I used it for high light and also on my nose which helps me alot at I have got flat nose. It gives me a nice glow and everybody ask what I am using.

Go girl. I love the Lustre drops. They are sold out most places so hunt them down. If you can't get those try to find MAC Glimmershimmer in Loves Pink. I used it mixed with foundation on a client and it was amazing.

I agree especially if you are dark skinned, those pink ones are a wasteeeeeeeeeeeeeeee of time lol. Nice review but the Pink ones spoiled my spirit lol

It appears you can do just about anything with the lustre drops. All the shades are great but again it is a matching process. The pink one is great for fair to medium skin tones.

Many blessings in finding them. Most stores are now sold out of everything but the Bronze Hero one. Good news is that this shade looks good on most skin tones.

Please tell me why I didn't pick these up? I have been regretting it since I went shopping at this collection. I need to call MAC and see if they have any left or go looking elsewhere...possibly makeupalley since I think it would be difficult to contaminate them. Very good review. Hope you are doing well!

Hey Jen,

Go get them. If you are tanning your will love the glow they give. I suggest Sun Rush or Pink Rebel for your skin tone.
