  • Two African GIANTS. The great Salif and the IMMORTAL Cesaria. Love you always barefoot diva.

  • What a clash of two African musical giants. This product does justice to their status and shows the rich musical reserves that Africa offers.I could listen to it all day long.

  • Salif Keita and Cesaria Evora are fantastics!

  • This is my favourite Salif song- deeply moving, exquisite. Thank you.

  • This song is profoundly beautiful,it calms my soul!!!

  • For Bukowiec: Salif Keita, singing in Malinke and French, expresses his feelings for his beloved one and exhorts her not to leave him because he cannot live without her. Cesaria, singing in Cape-Verdean Portuguese, speaks more generally about faith in progress, peace, struggle and resistance for a better future where all torments and tempests will be over.

  • Can you translate at least part of the song or find a site that does? I can barely understand the lyrics (except for "Too much"). I have been listening to this song multiple times while not knowing what the lyrics mean in English...

  • @nakyriaz What do the three women sing in? Je t'aime is French. Mi amore could be Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese (I think). And in the end is English. What is in between?

  • @nakyriaz Thank you for the translation

  • @nakyriaz thx for the translation, its a very beautiful and powerfull song!!

  • @nakyriaz

    Thank you

  • Cesaria...you are a GODESS!!! Greece loves you!!!!

  • I know that it's a a silly question, but... what is the song about?

  • about love

  • Beautiful

  • Salif, grew up as a descendant of the King/Founder of Mila, a country in Central Africa, he is albino, and should not have been a musician, in his royal heritage, but being albino, and banished essentially, he turned to it, his father loved him, he inspires many, he is Muslim, he has a HUGE HEART. I love him. This language is Mila, which is a cross between some African, and French, a prvious ruler of that area. That's why you hear French and Arican mixed here. There may be Portugues in her part

  • Mali not Mila* Thanks for the information, I like his music @RichardEdwardWurst

  • thank you for that explanation. yes, her voice is in Cape Verde Portuguese creole...

  • I love the way the guitar sounds
