  • great music never goes out of style

  • i bet these guys influenced Motion City Soundtrack

  • This entire album was gold

  • great great song!

placebo tried to copy it with their neverending why but this song is so amazing

  • I love both groups but this sounds nothing like Never Ending Why.

  • remember me when I was 17 and I hadn´t to think about nothing !

  • one of the members is the son of my 7th grade algebra teacher...

  • @AyzhunPersuasion hahaha no crap my tenth grade algebra teacher i saw him at there show back in the day it was crazy but he was a cool teacher mr glavich

  • wow.... a great classic song!

i remember past experiences.... i love this band!

  • @chrisfinest1 Check out Mika Miko

  • .thats not the point man

  • tguk ftw!

  • w00t!

  • Classic.

  • love this band,

  • Jimmy Eat World cited them as one of their big influences

  • My dad did the actual recording of this video

  • i love this, but the sound quality is shitty

  • This band is from Kansas City Missouri, not olathe... As is Reggie and the Full Effect

  • not bad :D

  • I poop, mostly brown.

  • intresting video...

  • This band is from where I live in Olathe, Kansas.

  • A esto si lo pueden llamar rock emo! pero no a la mierda de hoy en dia jum

  • ha im watching this video thanx to mark hoppus

  • I used to play this song on college radio back in '99. Saw them live twice! This is the 1st time I have ever seen there video. I wish they were still toghther!

  • They recently got back together, actually.

  • They still are lol

  • Haha okay now I know who Relient K, Motion City Soundtrack, Hellogoodbye, Something Corporate and The Starting Line were influenced by.

These guys aren't bad. In fact, they are pretty good. xD

  • the best is that the get up kids are ashamed that they influenced those bands.

  • is that really true?

fall out boy are in love with them apparently

  • yeah, blink is too.

mark hoppus asked them if they wanted to go on tour with them and the get up kids turned blink down. haha.

and i guess mark asked his wife to marry him to 'i'll catch you.'

  • yeah thats true about their wedding song,

its cool they remain kind of a 'grown up' indie punk rock band like alkaline trio rather then being associated with pussies

  • So NOT punk rock. Not even a little.

They're more like the "good side" of emo.

  • Happy emo? lol

  • happy is a emotion :O

  • sweet as fuck :D

  • Gonna see em in a few days, looking forward to that

  • This video is sweet! And it's also one of my favorite songs. I don't know what you're talking about...

  • One of my favourite tunes, spoilt by the worst video I've ever seen.

  • I dunno dude that was a pretty cool video for a punk band back in ze day.

  • As I've said, great tune. First heard it on a Vagrant Records sampler I have, the video has them in an awkward place, singing into a swinging phone ...please... they look embarressed.

  • they look embarrassed? wow criticism where criticism is due but your clearly talking bollocks. google half the shit music videos that came out in 2000 oops I did it again, rolling, waiting for tonight and then watch action action and give it the slack and credit it deserves.

  • shut up, it's a great fucking video

  • wow, just found this ./

i actualllyyyy like it .ha :)

no bodddyyy get madd or anything but they kinda remind me of blink- 182, , in a good waaay :)

  • This was a great song from my junior high-high school days back in 1998-99' yikes I'm old. The chick in glasses is cuter than the main chick in the vid, also she has big breasts. ; )

I saw The Get Up Kids the same year Something to Write Home About came out(the album feat. this song) at the Glass House. it was a good show. I miss the 90's. cheap cigarettes and riding in a car without a seat belt wouldn't get you a ticket.

  • i just heard this band on m80 for this guys video. i like them.

  • this isnt pop punk dip shit

a new found glory and blink 182 are pop-punk

    this is emo

  • Only good emo band I've ever listened to. Yes I know the emo fanboys will deny to the bitter end whether or not certain bands are emo, but this band is good. Bands like MCR are complete and total trash.

  • First heard this 10 years ago when I was fourteen. Still love the band and the song!

  • nobody knows how much i love this video & song...

    awesome (L)

  • Is that James Dewees on Keys?

  • you know it

  • yup he's back with them for the reunion tour :)

  • Yeah man =)

  • yes. yes it is.

  • About 60 pounds ago, yes.

  • this music video on blanktv's original website in 2000 first got me into TGUK... Such an amazing band!

  • greatest band of all freakin time ,great video -never seen i before.

Something To Write Home About=90's classic :D

  • four minute mile and the ep's are awesome too,ive listened to them over and over and I never get bored of them...usually when I drove my car alone thinking to girls that I did like

  • THIS

  • @Noobcake789 what?

  • i was sayin i agree with your first comment 110%. The only time to listen to four minute mile is in your car thinking about girls lol

  • damn straight man :-) ...still liking girls and still listening to the album ahaha...

  • i cant believe this only has 12000 views cuz i feel like i have watched this like 2000 times myself. i love this song.

  • are they ever going to tour? come on...

  • yes, over europe and usa...i'm probably seeing them in august and cant wait

  • My sister just got me into this band!!! They are awesome!!! I love them!!!!!!

  • Kids that think they listen to emo music nowadays don't even know about The Get Up Kids. It's such a shame...

  • RE: igetupkidl

    I do :]

  • That's cause get up kids are from an earlier gen of emo which was actually good. Now a days all these faggot bands write shitty emo music and like any other shitty music in the world it's massively popular, hence making older emo bands less relevant in the minds of those young emo queer kids who listen to MCR and all those other shitty emo bands.

Get Up Kids generation emo was decent.

The new wave of emo is downright terrible though.

  • nyw banda "C2 Pontos"...

    tanks

  • great band...beautiful chick...

  • Great song! Great video ...
