Budweiser is crap ....advertising can fool many people a lot of the time...i seriously doubt your average bud drinker has ever tasted some of the amazing real beers of the world...hard to believe people still buy buds anywhere...like drinking fizzy water...
He, might be right in everything he says. The video title however is misleading. And short. Overall not worth watching, unless you can find the whole discussion.
Next time you're in one of these Popsi McLager brand pubs, and you order a lager top (splash of lemonade added) or a lager and lime (splash of lime cordial) or snake bite (lager & blackcurrant) or have a wedge of lemon or lime in the bottle neck,
Ask why?
What flavour are you disguising or substituting?
Ask yourself,
'Isn't it time I changed my drink?'
'Isn't it time I made MY OWN CHOICE?'
Don't be just another sheep, that's brainwashed in their sheep dip.
Bud is indeed like water and same goes to all mass produced brands. UK beer is in a totally different league - common ones that come to my mind are Hobgoblins and London Porter and even though they are mass produced in the UK they are way way beyond 90% of the world's beer output...IMO :)
Overall, I love all varieties of beer, I love my craft brews, I love my Belgians, love my German brews as well......I also like the light Macro lagers as well....to me, every variety of beer has it's place. This gentleman touched on a point that really bothers me......for all these years, Bud, Miller, Coors, ect have had the ability to produce full flavored beers but had not.....people in the US grew up thinking thats how beer should taste.
I never liked Bud.....even during the era when shlitz, miller, pabst, bud, shaeffer were basically what most people drank. Bud is too carbonated for me and it tastes like wiesel piss
Nice, Excellent video. He does have a point, there are some scientifically impressive things that they are doing, but the end result is swill. Double IPA's and Bourbon Barrel age stouts FTW!
I wouldn't use A-Busch Budweiser to clean my toilet - my toilet would be offended. Budwieser Czechvar on the other hand, that's the true and original Budweiser.
Well, rice and corn are sometimes used because they are blonde fermenting grains. I think Stella Artois is and example of a beer that uses these grains, but I'm not certain of their amounts.
I've been pointing out the word "rice" on the Bud cans and bottles for years... and nobody, yet, has said they already noticed. I tasted it the first time I tried it then read the ingredients to see... and yep it's RIGHT THERE on the label, no secret.
shows the power of marketing... A-B products now have 50% of the market. Tastes like success?

Budweiser is terrible....If I'm at a grocery store I usually try and get Blue Moon (winter abby) and Sierra Nevada Torpedos (if they have them).

Don't put rice in beer.
Put beer in the Rice Krispies instead. Now there's a breakfast I'd buy.

Bud is garbage, they spend the least amount of money on ingredients to maximize profits, any questions?

SIDE NOTE:
I think I know 2 of DR PEPPER'S
23 secret flavors.
I taste 'rose water', 'figs' and/or 'tamarind'
What do you think???
PS - There are NO prunes in the DP recipe!
