  • Thumb up if you want RDA to clone Miles Quaritch :-D

  • LONG LIVE THE HUMAN RACE!!!

  • ONE fatal flaw in the Na'vi's plan.... WE GOT DEATH STAR!

  • Death to the pigeon flying, tree hugging, pony riding, flea bitten blue monkeys! Who's with me?!

  • whats the name of the music that goes on in the backround???

    plzzz

  • I agree he was the best actor in the movie besides Weaver.

  • humans will eventually outpower the Na'vi, because of evolution in technology

  • It's been so long since I downloaded this torrent.

I think I'll watch this again and lose myself.

  • btw you forgot the traitor and the imperium is known to utilise xeno's such as the jeareko and Fulgrim tough corrupted by the sword, let a numer of eldar maiden worlds alone, at least until the eldar ruined his picknic by shooting at him.

    read the Horus herresy Fulgrim

  • Na'vi=tau

4 fingers and blue i'd like to see this war 3000 jears later: we're going up against gunships with bows a- sorry with battlesuits! MUHUHAHAHAHA

btw avatar is situated somewhere in 2200 the imperium of mankind is in 29000 but the Emperor is a good guy and pandora would be one of the first worlds encountered by the great crusade so perhaps he would have granted the na'vi mercy, after all pandora can only be classified as a deathworld

  • thise guy is such a great actor and i actuly really hated him for hurting the Na"vi so that proves how beleivble he is not many actors can do that well done Stephan

  • Avatar: The story of Colonel Miles Quaritch, taking effective command of a base but ultimately falling to a traitor in his ranks.

  • @goldenbulletwolf666 Because Unobtanium exists in deposits, spread out, just like whatever metal we mine for already. It does not make up Pandora's entire landmass. Or else they would not even bother with roads. They would simply had ripped up the entire forest outward from their base.

  • @goldenbulletwolf666 Twice as much when refined actually.

  • Comment removed

  • @goldenbulletwolf666 Hah, you call the Na'vi strong? Thousands of them fought a low-scale battalion sized security force armed with weapons and equipment that are antique by Earth standards.

The result... the Na'vi got almost wholesale slaughtered and needed Eywa to pull their collective butts out of the fire.

  • @goldenbulletwolf666 And strongest by what accord?

  • @goldenbulletwolf666 The only reason they went to pandora was to mine for Unobtanium. No other reason, one resource. Pandora lost? It's as though you think Humanity would turn the whole world inside out. Heck, we mine for all sorts of materials here on Earth. Have we managed to turn this world inside out by now? Not at all. What makes you think that a small outpost with a few hundred personnel can perform such a feat?

  • @Cordar

Man is capable of as much atrocity as he has imagination. We are a dangerous species. With tenacity and greed, we could easily rip apart a whole planet. But, since gold and other valuables do not exist under most of the Earth's surface, we have chosen not to rip up the Earth's soil. I guarantee though, that if 90% of our Earth's surface had valuable minerals under it, we'd rip it all up.

  • @Cordar

    watch?v=-Na9-jV_OJI

This is my take on humanity and how we operate.

  • @pinheadman665 The problem with that sort of thinking, is that with such huge amounts, it ceases to be valuable, because it it'd be too commonplace.

  • @Cordar

I know, but then we'd try to find something else and harvest that instead.

  • He was a brilliany character I'd like to se a spin off focusing on him.

  • lol i remember what an avatar freak i was before it released. any new spot, or footage that will released i would see it with so much excitement. i miss those days

  • Stephen Lang is such an awesome actor!

  • @TheAltair4

He looks like an old Duke Nuke'em

  • @Johnlindsey289 lol. Yeah, he kinda does.

  • @44centz: Are you hearing yourself? This is just a movie, so I won't get too deep into this. But if this was real life where another planet existed with other thinking beings, we would have no right to invade and destroy another planet for the sake of our survival. If earth is dying it would be our own faults because we have destroyed it and we should suffer the consequences. Why should another planet have to bear the brunt of our own selfishness and corruption?

  • Go RDA!!!!!!

  • @Cordar: I respect your opinion, but it still does not justify them tear gassing, hurting and scattering the natives like animals for the purpose of their own gain.

  • @Aisharie you do relise earth is dying and needs this rock. i wouldnt blame them if they blew up the whole planet

  • Down with the Navi! QUARITCH IS GOD!!

  • @ankurborwankar the na'vi are better than him, humans lose and na'vi wins :D

  • How is he in any way good? He's leading an army to destroy another race for their planet. These people are living in their own world minding their own business and these humans want to come and tell them how to live and run their planet. It's just Hitler behaviour as far as I'm concerned.

  • @Aisharie Genocide are being used far too broadly. It refers to systematic mass killing. But none of the occurrences in the movie can be described even in the broadest term as genocide. The majority of deaths at the Hometree was collateral damage. And the battle at the end does not qualify either.

Their relations would probably had been far better if the natives had not commited to decades of aggression against RDA assets and personnel out of xenophobia.

  • Arnold war busy with Gov. so they got Quaritch...Kool anyway ;-)

  • Quaritch is a typical republican archetype. All those Avatar bullshit? Liberal poli-correctness.

  • The sadest thing is that he is just beeing a soldier, absolutely professional. That's why I never became a soldier. I appreciate too much my freedom of mind and speech. I haven't seen the entire movie, but now I understand some of the issues that is aiming at.

  • @solnegrolunaroja Without soldiers, there may have been world peace, perhaps utopia. However, no one would of had any freedom of mind and speech then at all. As the only way to keep the peace so completely is to erase individualism and make everyone think exactly the same way. Same thoughts, same opinion, identical and no difference. This world filled with conflict ensures you can live with such freedom.

  • I only finally watched Avatar (twice!!) last night and the Colonel is one bad ass mother fucker.

  • Colonel Miles Quaritch, Hero of the Imperium!

Purge the Alien, the Mutant, the Heretic!

Jake "race traitor" Sully is all these things. He is an abberation in the eyes of the Emperor

  • SHEPARD! KILL SHEPARD!!!!!!

  • Quaritch Profile in sent on a Mission to save Earth but fail and the Human Race was Doom. All the Dude Gay and Yaoi anal raped and Satan are masturbation to the human

geting they ass hand by the na'vi and man kind in sent to extinction.

  • They should rename Avatar the Adventures of Colonel Miles Quaritch

  • If you ask me, the Na'avi are the bad guys and Quaritch is the last noble defender of the human race.

  • 1:05, Doesnt he say "Are you out of your goddamn mind" in the final cut, never heard "jarhead mind" ? Hm interesting.¨

But yeah..He is really awsome :D. But neyney wins : ]

  • I hate him although hes awesome.

  • he wanted revenge for his scare in the special and script he said this is may war

  • Colonel Badass: "Shut your piehole!"

Grace: "Or what, Ranger Rick? You gonna shot me?"

Colonel Badass: "I can do that..."

    Greatest Villain Ever!

  • @Vodac120 that was my fav scene! haha

  • He was the best actor in the movie.

  • Bad guys make movies more kick-ass!

He did brilliant as the villian!

  • "Lets make this a quick one, I want to be home for dinner." xD

  • Colonel Badass

  • Even though Quaritch was an absolute bitch in the movie, i really liked him.

    ;)

  • "Well Well Well, I'd Say diplomacy has failed" ^^

  • if they made a ssbb movie he would be captin falcon

  • "Are you out of your jar-head mind?!"

    "You crossed the line."

    *Falcon Punch*

  • i wish he would marry me....

  • I did not see Avatar as a battle between black vs white. It was simply shades of grey that disagreed with each others.

Quaritch did not strike me as a villain, he genuinely cared about the health of those under his command, and most of his decisions have been quite logical considering the circumstances. Jake however seem more like a highly impulsive character whom did alot of mistakes that could had been avoided and proceeded to push the blame towards Quaritch.

  • "You crossed the line." POW!

  • Are you out of your jarhead mind? ahaha

  • I know he's the bad guy. But he's the coolest bad guy ever.

  • 1:05 HAHHA

  • "Pandora will shit you out dead with zero warning"

  • i like the guy, he has balls and he follows orders, unlike some naavi-wannabes...

  • @sergioBRE the right word for all those naviblue.com morons, wannebe's!

  • By far the most badass guy ever~ <3 him and hate him at the same time LOL

and HAAHAh! "ARE YOU OUR OF YOUR JARHEAD MIND?!" That's definitely not what he said in the movie~ XD

  • kill you and eat your eyes like ju ju beans XD thats by far the funiest military line ive heard

  • I wanted to kick him between the legs.

    Then I realised...no. Just...no.

  • I wonder how he can be a Colonel instead of a general.

Why send a lower rank to be one of the leaders there?

Quaritch is da best profile yo ;)

  • I think General is only an achivable rank within the Army of a nation or an established society.

This is not an army, but a band of mercenaries hired by a sovereign corporation. So the highest rank possible is Colonel, which is really not bad.

  • i like him because he is badass military guy :D

  • I think it's kinda funny when jake is on the Ikran and he tries to go Rooo-haaa! like Ney'tiri and he goes: BLEEEHHHHHH!!!!! I rofled soooo hard.

  • HAHAHAHAH ur comment made me laugh even harder. hahahahahah

  • Haha I must have missed that.

  • the best character in the movie hes like paton but he gets some for himself

  • what the hell are jujubees?

  • @TheOnlyGBeast it some kind of candy

  • @TheOnlyGBeast Old time gummi candies; like tiny DOTS, if you've had those.

  • oh k.... i know what jujubes are, but i guess they are the same thing..

  • what are jujubes

  • Jujubes are a gummy candy.

  • they should have made Colonel Quaritch the main character in the film and made Jake Sully the main villain instead it would have been better.

  • ..............

  • I like Stephen Lang Way!!! Better than those stupid tree hugging hippie blue things!!!! Go Lang!!!!!!

  • he's one badass villain!!

  • Sure, he takes orders from selfridge but i still cant stand him. the RDA company is home to the the biggest jackasses in existance.

  • a movie without bad guys isn't a good movie..so if avatar is so magnificent,it's because of him too...=D love bad guys

  • i think he's hot

  • i like this guy in the movie.

    Quaritch makes the movie alive.....

    all others are fiction.

  • lol he looks like a bad guy even off screen

  • search for stephen lang's comiccon interview, he looks like the most friendly person ever

  • he's not really that much of a bad guy... he's just doing his job at the end of the day. the corporate guy is the real villain

  • No hes the bad guy. their hunting the precious rock. its an illegal operation. RDA are not there to liberate. only explore.

  • mm you can see him as the ruthless sort, but he's only following orders from the corporate dude, who imo is the real snake and master-mind behind the whole thing .

  • Late for this comment, but no. The mineral is the primary reason that the RDA went to Pandora in the first place. If all they wanted was to explore, all they'd needed to send in would be satelites with associated drones and rovers for close up study.

  • @Cordar the primary reason the RDA went to Pandora was to fix an energy crisis on earth leaving billions poor and starving. Assuming population grows as it has for the last 50 years, there will be over 100 billion people on earth by 2154 (that's 93.2 billion more than today)

I'm surprised they spent the money developing the avatar project rather than burning down the forest to get at the mineral or building rifles that work on the aliens.

  • @hoyt596 The population won't keep growing like that, it will slow down eventually. In the movie, Earth have a population of 20 billion. And yes, as superconductors, Unobtanium can revolutionize Human technology on many levels in many areas that can benefit Earth as a whole, as well as allowing Humans to build economically viable starships.

  • @hoyt596 And the Avatar program was partially to ease diplomacy with the Na'vi. the RDA did not want a war. But because of Na'vi unwillingness to listen and Jake's incompetence, it did not work out.

  • @JinKazama92 uh no it's a completely legal operation.they want the unobtanium for starship engines

  • @getfreegamesfast sadly...

  • Pocahontas in space

  • You got that impression to huh?

  • most badass villan ???????????

  • Total badass!

  • My mom flicked him off during the movie lol

  • Quaritch. X3 So nummy.

  • Although he was the bad guy in the movie but i totally loved him

  • @Natalie9911 how is he bad, hes just doing hes job :)

  • very interesting

  • this man reminds me of the war between Native Americans and england. this movie is similar to that. its alos like New World

  • Ahem- not just the English. To quote from the Declaration of Independence:

"merciless Indian Savages whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions." Remind you of any character in Avatar?

the USA and Britain both played a part in that little bit of genocide.

(sorry about that- not really worth arguing about but I needed to vent. Nothing personal. Oh, and I agree with your comment. It's a bit like "Dances With Wolves" but in space.)

  • alright. so in this movie, those people try to take over and minipulate on thier land like in the movie New World. i just compared it with that movie. cant I? huh? nothing wrong with that. if wat i said turns to racial things, sorry . and u said that its not worth arguing then dont reply. thanks

  • amazing actor but i hate that son of a bitch

  • yeah same thing here. he owned hard! real kick ass marine.

  • I thaught his performance was amazing.

  • Colonel M. Quaritch...

About 170% Testosterone filled into a human body.

    He's more masculine than Masculinity!!!

  • you mean more of a douchebag than douchebaggery itself.

  • "Are you out of your jar-head mind?!"

    "You crossed the line."

    *Falcon Punch*

  • A falcon punch is to the groin! That was to the head!

  • You know in the sequel, the humans can just nuke the planet from space. If the human race really wanted Pandora, there would be nothing Jake could do. What is Na'vi with 20K warrior and arrows, bows against billions of people with ships, guns, missiles and who knows what else.

  • Col. Miles was my hero. If the humans had won, I wouldn't have been the slightest bit disappointed. He could be killing children and he still made me smile =P

  • Likewise. ;)

  • The Colonel was bad ass to me. I cheered him on lol. When he jumped into that Mech robot and was jabbing. That hyped me up. I want one of those lol

  • Interesting debate we have here. As for me I would probably side with the na'vi, I cant sit back and watch my own species destroy and rape Pandora.

  • Stephen Lang rocks!

  • Stephan Lang is damn doing a good job to play that bad ass colonel .. the reason why i came to see the movie again .. becasue of Stephan Lang and the rest of movie.... AVATAR rocks !!!!

  • The humans needed the minerals to solve the energy crisis on Earth. It has been told that the human population has reached over 20 billion, more than the planet can sustain. Earth has been ravaged by conflict, as mentioned by Jake ("they killed their mother"). Without the minerals, the humans will starve to death.

I know the Na'vi don't owe anything to the humans. It's a dilemma for Jake. He either has to leave the humans to die for the sake of Pandora, or help them at the cost of Pandora.

  • @Humpipe, I 100% agree. Here we have an issue that clearly divides those with, and those without what we ironically call Humanity. Earth needs more like us, symbiosis ftw!

  • Why would you side with humans who commit moral atrocities? Just because you are human that does not mean that you owe your species something, that would be like saying that a child inherently owes their parents respect and obeidiance. And besides, turning on THESE humans is not turning against the whole species, it's resisting insane and evil behaviuor. It's definitely NOT moral or rational to side with a group just because it has biological similarities to yours, ie racism, sexism, etc.

  • @Humpipe

    Totally agree :)

  • I totally agree with you too.

It's not turning against the own race, just containing the destructiveness which would even lead our own planet to death.

It's choosing between right or wrong, and even if we are human beings, we can state, that our behaviuor is not good anyways oO

    (:

  • cont... In this film my group is humanity as a whole, the Navi are someone else. (Coincidentally I do take stock of the films environmental message, it is one I have understood for some time.) But that does not change the fact I side with the humans and will oppose anything which works against it. I hope that makes things clearer. (Finished.)

  • Right man. Things are clear now. As i see you're just a scared baby that hides your worthless butt behind big guns argumentation: "Shoot first, ask and understand later!", as USA did in the Vietnam and Iraque. But everyone knows the end of history. As the amunition ends all your courage turns to yellow, then you put your thick tail among the legs and run faster as you can searching the N.A.T.O. helps!!! It's so gay! What a shame!!!

  • cont.. . This does not mean rabidly hating everyone around you. Good relations, trade, exchange etc can often mean good things for your group whilst unnecessary conflict is only detrimental. But when another group, opposes you, gives you nothing in the long term and have something you want then your duty to act for the interests of your own group means you should just take it (provided the cost is not so grate as to make it uneconomical.)

  • @Bodren

Just because you wouldn't leave the wrong side because you want to save your own ass doesn't mean it's the right thing to do. It's understandable, but definitely not right. The duty to do the right thing overrides the duty to stick to your own group. Every day example - if a group of friends decides to mug someone, you're supposed to forget your loyalty to them and do the right thing. That's basically the Avatar dilemma, on a minute scale, but the same principle applies.

  • @Alittlebirdy I agree that the Navi owe them nothing. The point is I dont care. Although as I said my priorities would have been different my core logic leads me to condemn Jake. Allow me to explain. A classic example of my way of thinking would be de Gaulle and France. You look at a situation and decide which group you are a part of. You then work for that groups interests and the general happiness and well being of that group, if need be at the expense of other groups.

  • @Bodren

Loyalty is one thing - if the humans had behaved with some compassion and understanding, Jake would not have been compelled to betray them. It's a whole other deal to stick obstinately with one side even when you realize what they're doing is wrong. Sometimes switching sides is RIGHT - when the side you're on is wrong.

And Jake does pick a side and work for it at the expense of the other side - it's just he picks the na'vis, not the humans.

  • Quaritch has a twisted sense of humour, with a GI joe type personality.

  • Anyone that sides with the Na'vi is a Bitch. Just so you know.

  • ...

And people like you are why we're screwed.

  • colonel Quaritch all the way!

he's the best character in the movie! a true human being

  • good, he just made you guyz hate him.

    he done his job beautifully

  • i like his role very much!! True human being not as Jakesully pussyass bitch!! fucking human traitor! Go Quaritch

  • Comment removed

  • @Nomak. (Spoilers.) I could not agree more. Though I would have different priorities on Pandora (trying to learn how the eco system works so as to reboot earths dying one as hinted at in the film) Jake was a traitor. The locals in no way wished to help us, no trade or exchange, nothing. So why should we care about them, we should care about humanity and what benefits us, not some alien group which only hinders us. Jake committed out right treason in going against humanity.

  • Why should the locals help them? The only thing the humans wanted was for them to give up the thing most important to them so THEY could save themselves from a word they killed of their volition. the na'vi didn't owe the humans anything. all they ever did was defend themselves, and what jake did was right.

  • Betraying your own species is definitely wrong! The universe belongs to us! All that stand in our way will be crush! Wait till the humans bring reinforcements from Earth. Lets see how Jake Sully and his blue monkeys like nukes!!

  • trying too hard. 4/10

  • @FabianoRonaldo777

    Fascism is an ugly thing.

  • @FabianoRonaldo777 There are no words to describe your astounding stupidity.

  • @alittlebirdysaid

There are no words to describe your astounding betrayal.

  • @FabianoRonaldo777

And it's that attitude that got the humans kicked off Pandora. Idiot.

  • @Bodren true,the na'vi never wanted to trade,negotiate or anything.

humans WANTED to mine unobtanium(i hate the name) peacefully,

but the na'vi wanted nothing of it!when plan A fails, plan B comes in.

how cruel plan B might be.I backed the na'vi during the movie, but in

real life i'd cheer for quaritch.

  • @getfreegamesfast why?!?!?! he wants to ruien their planet! why? i dont think you get the message in this story...

  • @lovedarlingjulie2435 correction,he wants to ruin the na'vi,so they wouldn't bother the humans anymore.then there would be peace,at a cost the na'vi chose themselves by being stubborn instead of cooperative

but then, that would ruin the movie wouldn't it?

    ; )

  • the reason of quaritch being badass is cause he served several years in the MARINES

  • kind of ironic 1:05

"YOU OUT OF YOUR JARHEAD MIND" why is he calling him a jarhead since he is a jarhead himself

  • thats why he said it, lol

  • There are scenes in here that are not in the movie if I remember correctly.

    And funny censorship.

"Are you out of your jarhead mind!?" hahaha.

  • It looks all too familiar... exactly the same happened -and still happens to this day- with the Indians, the Na'vi of America... murdered and 'relocated' extinguished and put in reservations like animals -for WHAT???

  • @samopdrift - Don't forget Israel's actions against palestine, The british against South Africa and the greater African Continent and a list of other similar extermination campaigns of indeginous peoples for their land and resources...for WHAT? is the true key question...GREED, SELFISHNESS? or just PLAIN EVIL!!!

  • damn that man was one die hard mawfakka .. like in the last scene when his plane was on fire .. he jumped in that mecha suit thing.. jumped out of the ship, ship exploded on the background and he's standing there like "now it's onnnnn!!" brutal!
