This is what we need to do in the middle east, MacArthur went in and knew the way to change the country to democracy was through the children, he went in and threw out all old text books and gave them new American text books. Americans have reasons enough to be thankful for ever to MacArthurs outstanding field command and leadership skills; no other american or other nations general has lost so few men in comparison to what was achieved. Eisenhower as CIC in the west lost tremendous amounts of men and material and was assisted by many others....

That's not really a fair comparison. MacArthur's forces were smaller for one, and he was fighting the Japanese whose technology and weapons were inferior.
