  • yes, Where is part 2/2..

  • Jim's voice is so thin and raspy. You can almost hear the end is near, even if it didn't come for another year.

  • IS STRANGE HOW MUCH CAN YOU MISS SOME ONE THAT YOU DONT EVEN SEEN IN YOURE LIFE

no es extraño como puedes extrañar a alguien que nunca viste en tu vida

  • I think Morrison like sombody said he dont care much about material things but sing agood songs and have a good time thats all about , i love the sound of Manzarek ,s piano .i think The doors was a cool band , wen they start playing i was probably ...3 years old ,im born in the 60 s maybe is why i like music , from the time , i like too the way they just dress on those years the automoviles the long hairs big bells bootoms jeans and high shoes.

  • @MrNativeman i like the music of those days and i was born in the 90´s so i think that is more that good music gets better whit the time that it mr

  • LOS ANGELES...

  • Being a 'Rock Star' was just the modem for Jim to express his feelings to the greatest number of people...It was a By-product of his musik/poetry...Jim lives on in the few that get it.his musik lives forever to all generations. The lyric changes and vulgarity was just shock value to get people to listen and wake up. And he was doing way before Alice cooper or Sabbath. Jim is The Lizard King!

  • Morrison had great courage. He sacrificed everything in the name of artistic freedom. He was not pretentious. He made his own rules & paid dearly with his life. He had a very kind soul & genuinely cared about complete strangers. He will never be forgotten.

  • Ray Manzarek once said that you have to be an intelligent person to fully appreciate the depth of The Doors. I don't mind if it's our little secret.

  • @dualityofman999 word.doors rule and probably created more offshoot genres than any other band.

  • glOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoriaaaaaaaaa!

  • Morrison gettin back to the blues..

    More blues baby

  • First time i saw somebody mention the amount of people, who had pushed the dislike button. And said something funny about why they did push the dislike instead of the like button, i thought to my self okay that was pretty funny, not haha funny. But okay funny. But now all these A..H.... have done it like a million times. Oh Freky devil!!

  • In other words 9 people just dont get it

  • 9 people got lost i think thet were looking oh god forgive me for saying his name on a doors page but they must b looking for justin bebier

  • @dosed1dosed1000 Shut the fuck up no one cares about that queer dont mention his queer ass in the persence of the Lizard king you fucking fuck face

  • 9 people don't feel alright...

    MAKE ME FEEL ALRIGHTTTT!!!!!!!!!!

  • who originally did this song?

  • @nicknasty585 van morrison, patti smith played another version whith lyrics by herself, and a totally different arrangemnt. two masterpiece both

  • @nicknasty585 check out hendrix verision too

  • 9 dislike you basterds

  • it looks like he only has 4 fingers at 4:05 haha

  • 6:15 and 7:15 are epic photos! haha

  • it's amazing how a man can go thru such a transformation in just 3 years.

  • I get a doubt!! this song is original by the doors or THEM (van morrison)????

anyway it´s an awesome great song!!

  • @chikithabetun was written by Van

  • these photos are sad to look at. he just so bloated & flaccid looking, having to try to hide a big paunch.. man 1970 was a tough year on him... the miami trial, the music indust turning their back on him, mounting alcoholism.... 26 going on 40.

  • I like the way you put in "somehow" in your description of the creative glide in between original "numbers".

  • gloriaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • @saviourlisa :::::::::: gloriaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Let me drink your poetry, drop by drop.

  • RESPECT

  • what do you know about it

Van Morrison liked Jim very much as well as a singer

what you say is so wrong

  • i didnt say jim sucked... I said ray manz. sucked, the organ player.... great on the keys (probaly one of the top 2-3 in rock ever), also a great leader & mediator to keep jim in the band that long... but as a singer, Lord he sucked. ruins any song he adds to imo.

  • maybe your right, but manzarek had take to over when jim passed out on stage ... gotta be more compassionate towards 'the master of art', said by the late-great Mr. Jim Morrison

  • but he's "Screamin Ray"

  • Why dont you try playing the song then.

  • make me feel make me make ma real real feel one two three ...oh

glorious gloria of JIM this time

    so drunk so good

a lot of fun and well done even masterly done

  • hi jim forewer beauty

  • For you mylord..remember????

  • Jim does a MUCH better job. Van Morrison's voice annoys the hell out of me. Plus, this is a sexy song, Jim doing it. Van Morrison-NOT sexy.

  • Who originally wrote Gloria?

  • Van Morrison has remarked that he wrote the song, "Gloria" while he performed with the Monarchs in Germany in the summer of 1963, at just about the time he turned eighteen years old.

  • van morrison

  • Van morrison

  • He never cared about material possessions, only about people & art. He wasn't a sellout like so many others. RIP my friend.

  • If u mean Van, he's not dead....still touring!!

  • Before The Doors were famous Jim & Van Morrison sang Gloria together onstage at the Whisky A Go-Go back in June of 1966!

  • Yeah, Ray described as "Jim, and the other Charamastic Morrison, Van, singing together in harmony "Gggglloorrriiiaaa" There was actually a scene in the Doors movie, where Ray was on vocals and Jim/Val jumped on stage and started singing, but it was removed.

  • @dualityofman999 Ditto brother. He bought ONE thing with his very first royalty check-a Mustang, which he literally LOST. lol That was him. He spent all his money on Pam's garment boutique, his long standing rental at his hotel room (Never bought a house), and booze, and trips with Pam. People can say what they will, but Morrison was NEVER in it for the money. The man only wanted to be remembered for his words...and he accomplished that. RIP "Jimbo"

  • Absolutely the greatest performer ever! He had more charisma on stage than any other singer before or after him. His wish as a shooting star that burns out but is never forgotten came true.

  • well said

  • le top...que de souvenirs...Feeling

  • One of the sexiest songs ever..............

  • waaaaaaaooooooo

  • gllloooorrriiaaaa

  • the lizard king- forever!!!

  • @MarilynManson08cunt

Jim disliked being called that. Being called poet was a lot more desirable. Just after being referred to that, he distanced himself.

  • I love it!

  • Great version, first time i hear Easy Ride and My Eyes Have Seen You togheter!! thanks

  • Super meldey, but it's a drag how jim's voice was gone...He was such a powerful singer, it happened every so often..

The Doors will be releasing a 'Doors live at the Felt Forum' boxset this year..

  • when?

  • THANKS!! I've been trying to find this forever!
