  • I am cool, Zarija Clabatti

  • i love how this song makes u care

  • @staticviewer songs are personal and never give a better understanding between people I dont care thank your god i am not aware

  • Great couple...

  • noodles instead of guitar strings.

    genius.

  • "Songs For Drella" was a great project. Not all the songs they came up with were classics but I love Small Town, Work, and Faces And Names. And this is just a lovely version of a lovely song. Thanks to whoever found this clip and thanks to Mr Reed and Mr Cale.

  • How can u forget "hello its me"

  • what about "youve got the style it takes" :)

  • But, as to the synth being novel then, this was 1990 or so, and synthesizers had been around in one form or another for 35 years by then, so it was hardly 'novel'. ;)

  • I haven't heard this stuff in a while. It's such a great album.

  • expectacurlar

  • John Cale looks cool.

  • John Cale IS cool.

  • John Cale is Antarctica

  • He's fuckin' deep space.

  • well you guys gotta remember the synthesizer and its sound was pretty new and novel back then....

  • "Songs For Drella" was a great comfort to me in a tough time. It will always hold a special place in my heart.

  • i think Andy must have really been horrible

  • Well, the nickname Drella came from a cross of Dracula and Cinderella. Do the math. ;)

  • What do you think we are fools

  • Not at all.

  • motherfucking over and out

  • I love these guys. So great, and you have to trust Mr Cale's instincts I think, ivegoneswimming :)

  • its a great song but why o why that awful keyboard please john stop i mean a celesta or just a piano but what a horrible sound

  • I like the keyboard, the awful sound kind of grows on you. Are there any clips out there of them performing "The Trouble With a Classicist"?

  • Yes, the keyboard sound is kind of odd compared to the album version (though the bass line is pretty much the way it sounded on the studio take).

  • This was the first Lou Reed album I ever bought.

  • I love this song. Andy and Jed were such a cute couple.

  • they gave more than they took.

  • these guys are geniuses all the way

  • lournes?

  • No, they're saying "Lou-urns, Lou-urns!"
