  • This amp is more better 4 what u use.Have a quality sound without equalizer and the loudspeakers is not 4 this amp.U know nothing about audio quality.

  • @MrAltafino i have your wife thanks :)

  • love all this vintage stereo amps they still the best

  • @dandamansrandomvids Hi, no the Japanese SA-9800 is similar to the SA-9900, both were released in 1975. If you want link I could show you.

  • @naturalthing1 the 9800 was introduced in 1980 my friend, the 9900 was from around 1977

  • @ismaelkhan No no, you are mistaken(thinking of the export model) Theses were released in 1975 in Japan first. If there is a way to post a link and show you I would

  • sa-9900 i mean

  • you idiot, that's the pioneer sa-99001

  • This is not the REAL SA-9800. The true SA-9800 in Japan has the inputs on the SIDES not the backside and it doesnt have that power indicator on the front.

  • @DiscoMusicFan so is ur mum

  • midnight express theme 1978 by giorgio moroder :)

  • Its the midight express theme from 1978 by giorgio moroder :)

  • I'm looking for this model of amp. I'm from Philippines and i wonder if i could find it here.

  • @ray2755 - very hard to find these days, she passed her 30th birthday in feb and still going :)

    good luck anyway!

  • Great Amplifier....; Baffles is BAD... MERDE .Speakers;;!! Shit !!

  • @Omar69ar whhhaaaaaa.........

  • What's the name of the song?

  • Im Wonder on what the price range is for one of these anyone plz tell me.

  • It's a pitty they don't make these super classy machines more

  • vintage moroder on a vintage pioneer. fantastic.

  • vendeme tu sa 9800, por favorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, vendeme tu amplificador!!!!!

  • vendeme tu sa 9800 por favorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • awesome live equaliser!

  • The amplifier seems awesome, what a shame you have those piezoelectric tweeters, replace them with magnetic ones or compression tweeters. you'll see the difference.

  • What a beast of an amp. I have a video of a new in the box SA-9900.

  • nice receiver and eq, I would use other kind of speakers though, those piezo electric tweeters sound harsh!

  • i have a pioneer sa-7500 only the power light issent working<<

  • those speakers wear not magneticly protected, they are long gone im using some 15" tannoy monitors with the red dual concentric transducers.

  • wass the name of that song thats sound nice

  • is that speaker set magneticly sheilded

  • since and then the better choice is a 9500 MKII or SA9900. If not a Pioneer choose Onyko from this time. Everlasting!

  • onkyo??? they're good but not exciting, no comparison to the Pioneer silverfaces in looks, quality, AND performance!

  • are you kinding? onkyo is one of the very best out there, actually today they are the best, they have the only receiver that is THX certified

  • Pioneer Vintage 9800 stands for:

all adjusters are "just" a Aluminium shell with the exception of the Volume.

The Meter is fucked when it is fucked. No chance to repair.

It like to overheat cause the trafo is mounted direkt to plate.

  • @kotze5 shut up you fucking idiot, go and play with your philips woox

  • vintage pioneer is a standard for quality.

too bad they don't make them like they did in the past.

  • jamos suck!

  • iv got similar to that but an older model, found it in the skip at work lol

  • great amp, but I would never have speakers with piezo tweeters. My first stereo amp was a Pioneer SA-7500, circa 1974.

  • My first amp was a Pioneer SA 500A with a pair of CS66 speakers. Believe this or not, the little amp shook the walls at a mere 10 watts per ch with the efficient Pioneer speakers. I wanted a bit more headroom and got it with an SA 7500

(40 watts per ch is a conservative rating)

  • nice set you got tere look at my videos it s cool

  • magari lo avessi io grande ma la disposizione del tutto andrebbe cambiata

  • nicw but when i look at all the vintage amps there playing old music put some disturbed on nice amp tho

  • forgot to mention, but the amp is a fuckin beauty.

  • these speakers wear only temporary my friend i have new jamos now, check out my recent vids

  • wth, why do the speakers have 5 tweeters AND a horn??? treble overkill much?

  • Hey, I have this amp but I wanna know what is the price for this? A partner wanna buy this amp and I want to sell my amp...

PD: I´m sorry for my dialect, I´m not american...

  • where u from, it all depends on the cosmetic condition and inside the unit! electrolytic capacitors ect! if ur in the uk i will certainly have it ;)

  • Cool reciever,, i love the old Pioneer Headphones too

  • awesome amp but shit speakers

  • What equalizer is that? I think its a technics and looks pretty simular to mine, but yours has more bands.

  • its a technics SH-E85 very nice to look at as well

  • Music is shit but Pioneer SA-9800 is awersome

  • so your telling me that giorgio moroder - chase theme from midnight express is shit ??

you obviously dont know proper music then, 1990 ur username u are to young to understand !!

  • Well, the song that you call shit is just a number that won an Oscar in 1978 as soundtrack to the movie "Midnight Express". Giorgio Moroder is one of the pioneers of synthesizer music and Disco Sound.

  • they are NOT VU meters, VU meters are 2 needles that move with a source input indeed but are read from a written scale behind them and have lamps that show them up in the dark, these on my pioneer are FLORUSCAN meters :)

  • Um, same thing? VU Meters show us the amount of power that is going through. They can be either Needle, LED, or Fluorescent types. They all show us the same thing.

  • cute vu meters :)
