  • what ? are usa gonna change president ? hm... tought president bush was elected by god.. hmm.. Well maby god isnt perfect on choosing after all.. maby he doesnt even exist.. maby america is all a bunch of morons who cant get their heads out of their asses :)

  • The fact you say that President Bush was elected by God hmm 'Which God are you talking about?' We are little gods too lol

  • Edwards was right on in that debate so was Hillary but Obama nooo. Although if I had to choose I'd choose Obama before McCain.

  • what about third party candidates?

  • Yeah I'd definitely go with them if need be before Obama or McCain.

  • You mean Nadar?

  • First of all Bin Laden had nothing to do with 911. Secondly he was trained by the CIA back in the 1980's. Thirdly even if he was responsible for the attacks of 911 which killed between 3500 to 3800 people it still wouldn't even compare to the amount of dead men women and children that the US Military under the Bush Administration has racked up. Not to mention that it would only cost a few mil to replant the towers. It has already cost American taxpayers three trillion as of January of 2008.

  • Hillary Clinton is a spoilt know it all. She will wreck America, worse than what thatcher did to Britain.

  • Does anyone else find it odd that this series of vids has 20,000 or LESS views each, meanwhile the "Chris Crocker Phenomena" has had millions of views for each of his(her?) vids?

Just something I thought I'd put out there.

  • How do you think we ended up with the president that we have now? People dont pay too close attention that way they cant feel responsible for voting for the wrong person.

  • Exactly, what I observed. Americans are so naive and stupid...they get the leaders they deserve !

  • ouch.

    that smarts.

  • No offence intended. But its true. Americans as a people are good people.American way of life is aspired by every nation. This has made Americans complacent and insulated. They just dont care about anything or about anybody in the world. If the US Government also minded its business internationally, it would have been fair. But that is not the case...the US has its army presence in more than 100 countries.

  • In the past 8 years, US has intruded and destroyed two countries(!!) Afghanistan and Iraq. Millions of local people have died. They might soon destroy Iran.

Given this perspective, Americans are often shocked and disgusted if any foreigner appears insensitive to the 9/11 tragedy. Come on, is there any comparison or sense of proportion here. And 75% of WTC employees were non-Americans.

  • Now, you get the idea as to why I feel Americans are naive and stupid. Probably the most stupid and pampered people on earth.

As I said...Americans are good people but they have dangerous and incompetent leaders with shockingly ill-informed foreign policy.

The rut they have dug is so deep, either Obama or Clinton will make no difference.

My guess is that Obama, who is inspiring and all that...will do to USA, what Mikael Gorbashev did to USSR.....He will reign over its destruction.Wait and see.

  • hmm..valid points, obviously..but my vote still went to Obama!

  • Obama gives HOPE to a people who are feeling HOPELESS. He is more like a Priest (Obama) as against a Surgeon (Hilary) to a terminally ill Patient with a liver disorder who has had a drink to many (US Economy + American people. The Priest is soothing but ineffective, the Surgeon is impatient,matter-of-fact and unlikable...but she atleast knows the job. You get my point.

  • of course--nice analogy---you should write for the SATs

  • Obama is a good man. If you see history, good men never get powerful..they get killed. See what happened to Gandhi, Martin Luther King, John Lennon etc. I am sure such a thing will not happen to our dear Obama, but good people are minority in politics. They have far too many enemies and vested interests who will destroy them.

  • It will be interesting to watch what will happen now. If the Hilary camp panics...we can expect a sleazy scandal to surface on poor Obama. Or they might just tire him out. Remember, November is still far away.

Or worse still, they might fudge the results of the peculiar 'electoral college' system in America which finally elects its President. Remember how Bush got elected !!

And America prides itself to be the most civilzed nation on earth !! LOL

  • I am sure this kind of discussion is too heavy for most Americans. They treat life and politics like a football match. Good vs Evil, Black vs White, Winners vs Losers and other simplisms.

The rest of the world kmows that life is far more complex....with many shades and textures inbetween. Therein lies the rub.

    Cheers !

  • well sure "hope" and "optimism" are ear-candy business BUT without these messages, who all is going to listen? the problem lies in the complacency of the american people, not necessarily with the double speak of our politicians.

  • You said it. I agree with you here. Its the people who should smarten up and take charge, instead of being manipulated like this.

You are quite smart for a 19 year old. : )

  • why thank you.

i shall take that compliment and run with it!

    where are you from, btw?

  • India. If more Americans think about their country's affairs and world affairs like you, maybe the American leaders would do things which make USA gain respect from rest of the world again.

Checkout Youtube videos of Donald Trump on Bush/Iraq. Very valid observations.

  • Obama is black, it would make history if he became the President. Is the 'really powerful white America' ready for such a big change...and that too in such times of crises....I really doubt it.

  • dude chill

    if you don't live here

why are you trippin on our gov'ment?!

    leave it be!

  • I am just observing here. I am sorry if it came out a bit heavy. But the important here is that the whole world is complexly interconnected today and its high time Americans realized we are all connected. The US Govt. know this...the US people dont. Hence, your reaction that "dude chill

if you don't live here, why are you trippin on our gov'ment?!leave it be!"

  • Let me explain why 'your Government' is the 'business' of rest of the world :

US owes China 1 trillion dollars.

US has 250,000 troops in Arab world.

US need Arab oil badly.Asian economies are dependent on US economy and vice versa - largest trading partners affecting each other's jobs and wealth.

US is worlds largest military, largest economy, US $ is world curreny.....and suddenly US is one of the most indebted and poor countries. So you can imagine, the anxiety for the rest of the world.

  • The whole world is watching America and wants to know...who will lead this nation. This new President's actions affects the whole world. It directly affects, China, Iraq,Iran,Oil Arab world, Pakistan, India, Mexico, Japan, South America, North Korea etc.

This is the complexity of the new President's job.

Talking of hope and optimism are like ear-candy. Knowledge of nuts and bolts is what we need here....the ability to safely walk through a minefield...that in short- is the US President's job.

  • just for the record he's black because the person that deposited sperm into his mother was black. he was raised by his IRISH MOTHER AND GRANDMOTHER. He's more of an average white guy than the morons who insult him think.

  • well I dont think we deserve bad leaders, we need good leaders, we just dont have enough ppl that want to take responsibility for their own actions they just want to be able to complain. Those ppl also deserve good leaders so that they can realize that change can happen.

  • Hilary can sound nice if she knows whats gunna be on the test...I do the same thing on some papers for school. I can make you believe just about any kind of bullshit I want to write because I substitute actual knowledge of the subject matter for bullshit phrases and seemingly intellectually stimulating ideas. Personally I think she is a joke.

    OBAMA 08

  • i acutally think hilary has a very strong point in her arguement. it seems a lot more stable than the other two. the others just seem to be enforcing on her message and point. she focuses on all aspects of the economy while the others basically brief it more and focus on personal attacks and personal "experiences"-using it as an excuse to say they knwo waht they are talking about

  • Edwards has the right idea. long term plans may work slower but that doesn't make them bad. i mean do get rich quick scemes ever work?

  • you know, a wise person once said that it is better to keep your mouth shut and "SEEM" stupid, rather than open it and "BE" stupid...

  • I will vote for Edwards

    Short term plans never work

    long term feeds our grandchildren

  • Dr. Paul to Fix teh Ecanomies!

  • hillary talks too much!!!!!!!!

  • daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa its a campaign

  • i know i ment its anoying.

  • My goodness !!! Is this really true ??? Are the the options for president of the greatest nation in the world ??? I believe none of these candidates are ready to deal with economical crisis at all. I hope choices will come up, instead of puppets representing some political interests beyond general public knowledge.

  • hillary is most likely to win the democratic primary, but she is LEAST likely to win in a general election.

both obama and edwards stand a better chance of becoming president than hillary.

    these are the facts.

stop living in denial and deal with it.

  • vote for neither. it's outrageous that blitzer, who is supposedly moderating this debate, totally ignores one of the candidates! I would like to hear what Edwards has to say about things. he's the clearest speaker out of the three imo.

  • vote for lesser of 2 evils!

  • You will notice that Obama attempts to stay very clear on specifics, while Hillary throws around deliberately twisted accusations. Yes, they are both critical of one another. However, she is pure politics, while he is attempting to clarify his record and make legitimate distinctions between them. I don't think Edwards smells like a rose, either. He is chuckling at his lack of time in the cross-hairs.

  • Love, Peace.

    figure out who I'm for...

  • Huckabee.

    .

    .

    .

    jk

  • ummmm, why arent they letting edwards talk while these two bicker? this is kind of messed up

  • because edwards is history

  • oh ok

  • hillary is all dirty politices.. she divides the country and full of negativity

  • will it be the first black or the first woman?

  • neither, for the sake of this country

  • hillary is most likely to win the democratic primary, but she is LEAST likely to win in a general election.

both obama and edwards stand a better chance of becoming president than hillary.

    these are the facts.

stop living in denial and deal with it.

  • Notice that question was deliberatley set off to spark tension between Clinton & Obama, because instead of just asking 4 evidence 4 ensuring everything is paid 4, they added Senotor Clinton's name 2 make it sound like a personall attack, allowing a substative answer 2 the question 2 b avoided to go off track & reference other statements that he was irritated by. Yet they don't ask questions to the candidate attaching through quoting Edwards critism. It was set up to create drama there4.

  • this is truly amazing

  • how so? it's people being people to me.

  • Now THIS is what a debate is like. Woo mama.

  • lol this is like Quayle and Gore back in the 80s

  • i swear if i hear john edwards say that his father worked in a mill one more time my head is going to explode. we get it john, your dad worked his ass off and suffered, but that doesnt mean you did! go back to the court room

  • Our country was never better with Clinton in charge, and so it will be again. We need serious help, and Clinton will be strong and experienced enough to do that.

  • Clinton won't be able to do much with a congress minority

  • Clinton and Obama should really stop going at each other so hard.. this is gonna bite them in the ass during general elections.. imagine the republican smear machine using these videos as ammo from within the democratic party..

  • Agreed, Puff. It seems clear to me, though, that it is Hillary's strategy--moreso than Obama's--to waste time and energy finding ways to put her opponent on the defensive. I think she makes it clear that a vote for Clinton is a vote for Washington business as usual.

Please, for all of our sakes, vote Obama in Feb. and Nov.!

  • look its really not obama its hilary she keep goin at him he just gets her in the debates everytime i hear about a problem between them 2 its hilary starting it

  • for obama it is the honeymoon period - lets see who holds up after having been put through all the other politicians have been put through i am not american But i find it curious that it is still a racially divided country and I lived in New york aliberal city! the US would rather choose a black man over a white woman - that shows chauvinism is a far bigger problem than racism... 50% of the population would be represented asopposed to 8-10% - just an observation...cheers

  • Edwards is there AFAIK he's a white male and not getting half the votes of the other two.. you asshole!

  • no need for swearing, frustrated republican are we?polls r just that - who will vote where there mouth is? real life politics is different than poli-sci at community college eh?

  • first, learn how to write proper english, before commenting about the politics of a country other than your own,

Second, following your mickey-mouse type of reasoning and since Edwards is not winning against a woman and an african american, I guess the US discriminates white males, and that constitutes a far bigger problem than either chauvinism and racism... only an idiot would come up with such arguments. Case closed.

  • proper english with all those commas and the 500 character limit. are you, is it the word in english also, is it touche' or touchy... dont worry my dear those hormones will quit raging after you turn 19...adieu mon petit

  • Also might I add that Clinton is being financially supported by some large corporate entities such as Health Care Organizations that would stand to lose a lot if someone actually helps the people. Will she worry about our bread and butter if hers is threatened in the process??

  • She's sneaking in and she's gonna slam, I so believe that she'll do everything in her power to give us proper healthcare.

  • Want someone who actually stands for the ordinary people?....Dennis Kucinich all the way!

  • don't be fooled and let 2 famalies lead your country for over 20 years.. that just can't be best for you! Go Obama!

  • Agreed!

  • wow. where do you get your information, fox news.

  • A "huge" year? It was an adequate year if you discount the existence of a subprime mortgage crisis and the continued decline of the US dollar.

  • Hilary is in a personal battle for presidentship and competence, where as obama wants to get things done for the country

  • hilary to win - as much i as was torn between obama and hilary in the end hilary is better under pressure i keep seeing a face on obama going"oh they are being mean to me - this is unfair" well the campaings are nothing against other world leaders and the shenanigans of world politics!!!

  • oh your being mean to me? no im sorry that's hillary.. remember when she gave that speech infront of women going on and on about "the boys club" picking on her? hillary is fake, diabolical and will say ANYTHING to become president

  • Hillary is advocating another WPA and CCC, as well as Universal Healthcare.

I like those ideas, but I'm not sure America will vote for what seem like overtly Socialist ideals...

  • I love Obama but Hillary is for universal health care that leaves me no choice but to vote for her. I am sick and tired of people discriminating against singel hard working Americans who don't have any children. Fuck it!

  • she's corrupt! don't vote for her just because she's a woman.

  • obama is from one of the most corrupt state legislatures in the union

  • what a disaster it will be if hillary becomes president.

  • 01:08

We'll be looking at that big butt.

  • hillary voted for the war, that s all i have to know. That s why she is also responsible for the biggest disaster in foreingnn policy since vientnam

  • WHERE IS DENNIS???

  • look at the description section of these videos and there is a link to why dennis was not there. CNN and NBC screw him over and he has filed complained to the FCC.. you can also go to my blog to see more info...

  • I've watched all of the debates you've posted. Thank you so much! Without YouTube, I wouldn't have a clue who to vote for so confidently.

  • that's the reason why i put them up... however make sure to research and do your own questioning and look for the answers. not just the best face they present in "debates"

  • The face these folks are presenting here if best, needs work. I get to see how they act with the press, which is what I've spent the past eight years avoiding. It's important to have a well-spoken president as much as someone who agrees with my views. The personas they have created at these debates have helped me do more research than I might have normally done. They keep me interested, answer some questions, and send me running to the source.

  • kudos to you.

  • thx for uploading

  • thank you researchris2 for always uploading the debates. you are reliable and I mean that sincerely as a loyal subscriber.
