Bobby Jindal graduated from Oxford with a degree in Political Science as a Rhodes Scholar. President Obama graduated with a Harvard Law degree Magna Cum Laude. One might be splitting hairs when trying to discern which one is smarter. I guarantee that both make us look like fools.

Speak for yourself about looking like a fool. Common sense is what makes politicians viable. Jindal is intelligent and has strong common sense. You need it at the executive level. Just because a doctor can remove a cancerous tumor from a living body, or yes, someone with a Harvard law degree can 'organize a community,' doesn't mean I want them to be President. What does any President know about a small businessman in Iowa? Nothing. Stay out of it, by letting them run it themselves.

Jindal has been a great governor for Louisiana and has shown an ability to lead under fire - last year's hurricane crisis, for example - that Obama never has. But this speech was poorly delivered. He should have been more "matter of fact" and less "awe shucks". The GOP desperately needs a fresh face like Jindal to lead the party from oblivion. Had his speech been more forceful and direct, Jindal would be the #1 contender for the nomination in 2012. But now, he's just another wannabe.
