I study economics and i see many teachers do not support studying women. Society still wants to see women in the kitchen. Journeyman pictures does a terrific job reporting everyday life in Iran. I find it is a great way to better understand some of the cultural issues Iranians face, and the different views of East and West. I would like Tehmineh Milani to do a film where the role of men and women is switched. Men have no rights....have to wear a veil, etc. Maybe it can be a "dream like" scenario and when the man awakes he has a better understanding of a woman's struggles.

If that is the case, don't you worry that it weakens your message by making it easier to just ignore? You risk coming across as someone just mindlessly chanting some agenda. On the very contrary- I support equal rights for women, and I have nothing against them having complete freedom considering, the two people that mainly brought me up was my mother and grandmother. This has nothing to do with sex. I don't beat women, I don't typically disrespect them, as a matter of fact, I was brought up to treat women with decency. The fact still stands, women fall for assholes, and if they lived in an environment like Iranian women do, they may not take a nice man for granted.

Islam and almost all religions have used violence and discrimination since their creation.
