What I did: when i had the 3 red rings of death when I first turned on the console--I unplugged everything, gently carried it to my kitchen and remembered what my friend said when he had the red ring of death(he put it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes) I didnt feel like really doing for that long. So i left it in there for 2 minutes, took it out, layed it on its side for an hour and 15 minutes (the same duration of watching many videos on fixing it) afterwards i plugged everything in and done.

How to fix the Red Ring of Death:

- Don't leave the XBOX360 on its side, because it will overheat.

If you want it to lay down on its side, install a game on the Hard Disk so the DVD-Reader doesnt have to spin all the time which causes heat which causes Red Ring of Death. :)
