Rumi wants to untie knots in our heart and mind. Free our heart and mind and let the light of The Beloved shine on our heart and mind....it is only after we clear knots we can then reflect the light back to The Creation.
Since the tragic events of 9-11, Professor Naini, one of the leading Rumi scholars, left his position as Dean of a college of IT at one of the universities in South Florida, and has been traveling throughout the world, trying to spread universal peace, love, and harmony through Rumi's insightful teaching. He has actually traveled around 400,000 miles, and has been invited as a keynote speaker at many of the most prestigious places in the world
Tena koutou. Beautiful posts, dialogue of love. In my language love is Aroha. It comes from the Lifebreath inheritance of direct Sacred lineage in all life forms. Only touch anything of the Creator and know the enormity of the Love which expanded our existence all around us, in us, of us, attracting us. Rumi said; 'I Ask for One', in asking of or for anything when spoken from the place of Self as unified One to Creator presence as One, all that is desired is made flesh. Mereana in Rotorua
affarin..the would is spinning ..and getting played after dark and evil rules..we have to change the game and the rules ..our at least on a personal level
Love, Love, LOVE !!! The power of love is truly the greatest of all, and we are fortunate to be aware of it, be able to nurture and add to it ! The smallest, most subtle, seemingly random thoughts and acts of love are the most profound.
Very passionately presented by Professor Majid M. Naini. Professor Majid M. Naini is a leading scholar of Rumi, the 13th century Persian mystic (Sufi), who has been the best-selling poet in the U.S. for the past several years.
This really is a beautiful ...thanks for the upload :) Mavlana Jalaluddin Balkhi Rumi(September 30, 1207--December 17, 1273)was born in Balkh (then a city of Greater Khorasan in Persia, now part of Afghanistan) and died in Konya (in present-day Turkey). His birthplace and native language/local dialogue indicates a Persian heritage.
Ai Hazarate Mawlana, man fedaye hama goftarat. Rumi's word are so powerful, I can't express what they mean for me. His word are asoole asoole asoole deen.
Dr. Naini is my favorite speaker about Rumi. He truly knows Rumi in his heart and soul and recites and translates his poetry with such passion. He also has a heart of gold.
What a challenge we face today! In the face of global violence, anger and despair, Rumi can lift us off our feet with his poems, and send us whirling in the Divine message of Love.
I just read the interview with Dr. Naini in the San Francisco Chronicle, Can Rumi Save Us Now? (you can read it at sfgate) This is a fantastic answer to that question.
I've been to several of Dr. Naini's talks and this piece really sends out the message of universal love. Just the sound of his voice makes one envision a world of peace.
Ostad very nice... it is always good to hear your talks about Rumi. May God give your soul and peace and power to spread out Rumi's wise words of Global Peace and Harmony
Thank you so much for enlightening!
