I tried the mod, but with some old modeling clay I had...now it feels like a mini version of my Freehand 2, weight-wise. Sleeps almost as long too.

i kust bought uit at walmart for 6 bucks n like its slept hella good then i took it a part to see the bearing n it wont sleep what is wrong?

I dont recommend this mod. Because, those sticky like blue tag increases the weight. And we dont know if both parts of the yoyo has equal weight. Therefore when it spins it will most likely tilt. Causing the string to touch the yoyo and slowing it down.

another thing to try, is get a guitar cable(or any other cable that thick and you dont mind cutting up) and put it in the yo-yo.
