Change your rip settings in Windows Media Player (Guessing) under the security tab and make it so it doesn't put right protection on it

What's the difference between WMA and mp3?

They are two different file formats, mp3 is more universal, and is compatible with a lot of things. WMA stands for Windows Media Audio, and it is a windows based file format.

What about Windows Movie maker? I tried doing this when I make videos. I can only use songs that I ripped from, cds. It wont recognize any songs from itunes. If i download or buy 1 of these converters, will it work for MOvie Maker?

Just bout all songs now a days has write protection, cds are easier to get past, but when you download from itunes, it comes in mp3 format and is write protected.

So you need to try and convert it to another format that is compatible with movie maker like wma, and if that doesn't work you need some unprotecting software.

The bwst cd-dvd burning soft i've try is real player plus((40.00), nice features and downloads easy from youtube etc. does mp3 and wave easy and reals .ra lossless, though no highmat lossless so you can't get hot speed transfers. try putting your music files in folders(file specific folder) for easy file type changing and sorting, (as folder(.wav, or(folder .mp3), etc.
