a friend of mine sent me here, glad he did. you're a wise man and a pleasure to watch. i agree with what you said here :) and as a dog person, i can add, that having a dog can help a person learn to give love, too. :) cheers
Dave, very nice advice given here. When you were talking about what dogs do for attention and love; it makes me wonder of all the types of ways people go looking for love and attention...what will you be doing for your holidays? I have spent so many holidays alone that it doesn't bother me (anymore) however, this year, I will go to Michigan for just a few days; to be with my dad. Take care. Nice job.
I'll be spending my holidays as I do every other day. Staying in bed all but a short time of the day getting myself healed up. LOL... Exciting, que no?
I LOVE to give toys to underprivileged children. On Christmas morning while I'm having my coffee, I am just warm all over imagining the joy those children are experiencing.
And I love to listen to beautiful quiet Christmas music all year round. :O)
Thanks... For me, a smile is the best gift I could ever give to anyone. :-) I get one back just knowing someone else has one on their face. LOL... Yeah, I'm a selfish bastard. I do it for MY smiles. :-P
I couldn't agree more. Feeling like you've cheered someone else or taken care of their needs, be they emotional or physical, has a way of making you forget whatever has you down.
I believe it's even simpler than that. Joy is infectious. Give some joy, and some of it'll bounce right back at you. The more you give, the more bounces back for you to enjoy. :-)
Mr. Dave, this is the best video posted on YouTube.
God Bless you.

I should live for a thousand years. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. Yes dogs do give unconditional love! And giving is better than getting!! You're ok!!
