@muchohumpty well this level is stealth so its so paced put the mission with the marines ( these are the spec ops ) r very awesome such as the beach level nd storming an airfield there are a lot of soldiers nd gunfire kept me entertain for a long timw but gt stuck on level 7 . Also red river is a very gd game one of my favourote got it for 20. Nd its awesome

@conorkavana No...the marines that assault the beach and the airfield are your regular marines. In this mission you play as the spec ops. The spec ops in this game never work on a large scale...they are always in a squad of 12 marines...while the beach assaults and airfield assault involve 100 marines.

why is this level glitched for me? the ai can see right through all the buildings and you can walk and shoot right through them. it's as if they don't exist.

I think the last mission is hardest because i first clear out all the buildings near the rockets then i finally get to destroying the rockets i get the javelin run all the way to a hill,Aim,then BOOM out of nowhere i get shot by one of the snipers hidden in the far mountain to the right!No matter how i try i know i get shot by the sniper!

Its not like the enemies are harder on Expert, the enemies and your allies are the same no matter the difficulty, they just take away parts of your HUD, or other nice little things like that ^_^

I have a major problem... As posted by FOXTAMEROMATIC: the blue jeep that is supposed to create a diversion drives (when spotting it on the map) in the opposite direction and starts spinning! This happens every time I restart the mission or reload the last checkpoint... Obviously it's a bug, but how can this be fixed? Any suggestions? I'm stuck... please, help! Thanks! =)

Trust me i feel your pain it took me a week to finally beat this level. The one main thing you have to do is if you die you cant reload at a checkpoint you have to restart the mission from the begining. Its really fucked up how they made this level so broken and wont fix it. Its a shame cause its a really good game but tons of problems. Hopefully OFP RED RIVER will be done better

The same thing happened to me at the end! I had to play it over and over till finally got to chopper and freakin thing just sat there until enemy made it all the way up and blew up chopper. However i replayed it after and it took off mission completed

You really don't have to be THAT stealthy. I literally just sat on the side of the hill in the open near where the two sentries walk by and they were too stupid to see me. I also just walked right up to the support gunner in the shack and knifed him. Haha

@oglan97 if you think this is going resemble cod and battlefield bad company, where mindless shooting as long as you react quick enough and have good markmanship then... no. on the other hand if you want to try some thing amazingly fresh and different from the majority of the fps, and prefer heavy tactics and good at outwiting your opponents, on top of that, unafraid to face most intense challenges ever designed in tactical shooters, then get this game.

If you are playing alone, the best thing you can do is leave your squad at the OP and enter the fuel depot alone. Place the charges, leave, and from a safe position detonate the charges. This is the only mission in which I find the AI squad to be useless; they work well for me in the rest of the game though :)

seriously this mission fails, me and my squad are running, sprinting, crawling and sneaking into all ways of getting in there but my troops ALWAYS shoot the enemy and then their alerted and i get killed and so far im on my 30th attempt
