@WilltheWang I do it in the snow all the time during the winter holding sideways around a pole in a parking lot in my C280. Iv yet to be able to actually drift in it, its a bit hard seeing as it doesnt exactly have enough power to get the wheels spinning easily. But in the snow, its a massively fun toy to throw around.

I practiced on parking lots too at first, when I drove with the BMW 518i I had (I didn't have any idea back then about finnish race tracks and so). The only thing I damaged on it was the waterpump. Wasn't a good idea to push the limits of a 4-cyl engine, which was already 15yo at the time.

But you're right, were the car in the video a straight 4 or 5 cyl, it isn't a good idea to push it's limits. Were it a standard V6, then it pretty much depends on how old or driven the engine is.

the reason why your drifting like crap is that:

1) you need to get rid of the traction control <----most important

2) you need to get way way stiffer suspension, and get rid of a lot of weight

that should make a huge difference...
