You cannot film on a plane legally, as its not a public place. There are public there, but they have paid to be there and would have to give permissiion and permission from airline too.

I have flown over 50 times in my life. I have encountered kids of all races acting bratty on flights. No one should make this into a race thing.
Also, once the flight attendants arrived, the man should have let them do their job. There is no reason to say anything else. If the kid was acting uncontrollably, other passengers would stick up for him and the staff would take appropriate action.
What is more disturbing than the kid's behavior is two adults acting like idiots themselves.

Anyone refuses, you now have a case for "disruptive behavior". How hard was that?

It's not just black people. My neighbors were white and they just got evicted from their condo. I AM SOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY! What I meant was, instead of hitting your child, a parent should try taking something away from them until they correct their behavior. It can be anything really. Kids with toys(among other things like TV and video games), saying don't go out late for a week to teens, no internet, you get the idea. I was not saying this was the ONLY method like what dimbulb said. It was just an example, but he/she took it literally.

I think kids should be confined to one area of the plane, of course some seats will still have to be near them, but maybe those seats can be occupied by parents. I have been beside one too many screaming little brats aboard planes. I never had children of my own because I didn't want to deal with them, so don't like dealing with someone else's.

I have flown over 50 times in my life. I have encountered kids of all races acting bratty on flights. No one should make this into a race thing.
Also, once the flight attendants arrived, the man should have let them do their job. There is no reason to say anything else. If the kid was acting uncontrollably, other passengers would stick up for him and the staff would take appropriate action.
What is more disturbing than the kid's behavior is two adults acting like idiots themselves.

Call the capt., say "turn the seatbelt light on, we have a minor disturbance.". Then tell the passengers "the seat belt light is now on, everyone take your seats immediately". Move the kid. Done. @LTBL88 - That's right. A lot of kids need a good kick in the pants these days. If they got one or two of them, they'd grow up with more respect, instead of treating everyone around the like shit until they wind up in jail. The last generation got a good kick in the pants and grew up fine. This generation is mollycoddled and wrapped in cotton wool. Next thing you know, you've got packs of teens running the street, abusing everyone around them, because they literally have absolutely no respect.

hotdrumchick: Thanks for your comment. How could you have been fired when someone else wouldn't help a passenger with their bag? I was horrified because I was in a wheelchair and when help was refused, I said "fine, I will do it myself" and they said "You did this to yourself" and I said "what? I'm in a wheelchair; I didn't do this to myself!" and they tried to throw me off the plane. It was like a flashfire of horrific proportions. Terrifying. I will NEVER fly American Airlines again.

It comes down to controlling your child, no matter what "race" you are. The way your kid acts reflects upon you, so in this case the mother should have had a talk with her son before they got ont the plane. "Look junior, it's gonna be a long flight, but you're going to behave. No kicking the seat, no running in the aisle, no playing with the call button. If you cut up, I'm going to smack your butt". I can't count how many times White kids (Hispanics, too) are say, running through the store, pulling things off shelves, opening packages, screaming like banshees, and the mother is pretty much allowing the kid to do it. @iTyKM I have to complain on that i've seen numerous times where someone asked to stop kicking back of a persons chair and their parents were still "white". Why does this video have anything to do with racism or the color of someones skin anyway. I mean personally it's just a clip and you wouldn't know what the person said before he asked the kid to stop. Personally I would have ignored the kicking or ask politely for the person to stop. The fact that a maybe 40 year old man can't handle it...

@CommentsSurvey No, Jetblue Airways is a PRIVATE company meaning they can have any rules they want. And if they don't allow filming, then you have to comply by them when they ask you to delete it. If you dont want to follow the rules, you must pay the price. Jetblue is not at falt here.
