I would love to have heard a Chrir Curtis album utilising all his different vocal styles (pop, ballad, rock 'n roll etc) as well as his own compositions. He would have grown and matured as an artist/producer etc such a waste of obvious talent.

This is a cool catchy song, Im surprised that the Searchers haven't released this song as a chart single. It could've been another hit for them....Well in my opinion anyways.

@ebfan41 It's for certain, Needles and Pins is the first song I ever heard by The Searchers, and is in my Top Ten Searchers Tunes. Needles is a very stirring tune, and I always attributed it to the drumming from Chris that punctuated that beautiful song. @9erfandex -- Hey 9er, my Bud, you are right this is a Burt Bacharach song, and what a wonderful job Chris did on the lead vocal!!! Glad you enjoyed. It's always a joy to get your enthusiastic comments!! The first photo you see on the video is from a video clip where the entire tv show was a tribute, by different performers to Burt Bacharach music. In fact, Mr. BB. had a house around the corner from where Chris lived!!

Chris Curtis birthday would have been this coming Thursday, August 26, 2010. Sadly, we lost a wonderful human being in 2005 when he passed. He will always be remembered for the lovely music he made.
