Errr, no. You're thinking of Wild Thing by a different pop princess who won some 'talent' show in the UK and castrated the original. The only similarity in TV's song is the descending first two notes.

well i have no idea who u are talking about, but listen to the track i mentioned. its the same riff and melody, albeit slightly faster. wouldnt be the first time TV were accused of plagirism either....

The first time I heard this (live, in '88) I thought the band we're going into a cover of "Wild Thing". That opening riff is very similar, but the rest of the melody is quite different. In fact, probably closer to "Louie Louie"
