This show was and still is my favorite anime! I remember as a kid, my friend and I would pretend to be Gohan and Goku. I remember getting into the fighting stance, glaring, focusing, doing the whole power up thing. Bruce Faulconer's background music was playing over and over in my mind. I wanted to be a Saiyan and fly and save the world just like Goku and everyone! I would imaging Goku or Gohan being with me wherever I went... I was such a crazy kid... :D

WRONG! LEt me specify for everyone. Cell has the DBZ of sayians and other warriors. Sayians have a ablity that the closer to death they come the stronger they become. Cell was quite litterlally only a cell away from death. So when he regenerated, he was able to get that sayian gains which was enough to get him in perfect form without 18 after he blew up.

So he was in his 2nd form when he blew up.

DBZ was great because the fights were intense, huge fucking laser beams, glowing people, the whole introduction to the power level concept... it was a great power trip, up until the Buu saga. It got to be a little bit much, but it was still fun to watch. DBGT was garbage, not even written by the original creator. I could barely stand watching it. So many things didn't make sense.
