It's an honorary title given by the closest ally.

Please stop misrepresenting the constitution, it states "No Title of Nobility". He is given no power or governing status. It is basically a written thank you note. Furthermore, Brown was considerate enough to now the constitution better than you. He still asked respectfully for permission to place such a title on the senator from congress, in front of them, and most likely asked far prior if it would be appropriate.

can't say I don't disagree with removing him from Congress. I think these honorary titles and such fall underneath "any title" pretty well. Our allegiance should be to our own Country, not holding up for awards from other Countries.
